Topic: My Internet is messed up

After afew minutes on the net, it will suddenly freeze....I do not understand it, I wait for EVERYTHING to load, I have deleted SO MUCH stuff off my user and it hasn't made ANY difference....the rest of my family doesn't have this problem and we share the same computer!
Is it Internet Explorer or something?  
I need help here.

It's most likely whatever browser you are using. If you are loading a lot of images on the same page, it will screw up for you. That's what happend on my PC so I got a laptop and now it doesnt happen like that.

Your best bet is to get firefox and see how that works out. Otheriwse, re-install IE.

I dont think IE can be re-installed unless you pull all the files from your Windows CD.

Re-installation of IE is very complicated as well.

And if the net is messing up, she can't download Firefox.

Since it's just your user profile causing the problem, try creating a new one.

I would create a new user...but I'de loose ALL my stuff I made. ;_;
Plus, my parents think IE is fantastic, and they think Firefox is a load of rubbish...I try to tell them that IE is crapola...but they say I'm too young to understand these sort of things.

If you create a new user, you can go through the Documents and Settings folder on your hard drive to get to your My Documents folder and copy it.  I've done it before.

The path will be:
$root$\Documents and Settings\$username$\My Documents

For example, mine is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents

Type msconfig in run and put up a screen shot of the WIN.INI tab.

I've got some good news. After staying off my user for half a day and deleting some more files, the net is working again!
I feel happy!
