The episode("The Journal") aired. it was a lead-in the to the cancelled movie. The guy who created the show(I forgot his name) wanted to also do a show for CN, Nicelodeon got ticked and trashed the movie and the show. But I think the show ended just in time(before it got bad).

They had 2 or 3 episodes about his parents. Arnold found this journal about his parents journeys. Also, grandpa told Arnold stories about his parents which made his search for something about them.

Yeah, I've seen one or two episodes with his parents in them, but it never went into detail or anything.

Here is a chat they did on Nick.com with the creator of the show. I believe it was done right before the movie came out, but he does talk about Arnolds parents and a bit about the show.

I miss that show. It was another one of the few Nickelodeon shows I could stand watching these days.

this was my favorite nicktoon for a while and still is up there i didnt understand why the movie came out when the show was like dead

hey arnold is an awesome classic nickshow i LOVED it if the movie sucked too bad their own fault they shouldnt cancel an awesome show.
its still VERY RARELY shown.
