This may sound stupid, but that friggin' sucked in a way. We needed that stupid rain, badly. All we have now are tree limbs in the yard. -_-

Be thankful, that's all the storm was, some rain would of been ok, but you don't want what they're getting in Northest Texas. And it's good to hear, you're safe, and the storm didn't cause in damage to your area!

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

Yea I know, but it they'd said earlier this morning we would've at LEAST got rain over here. I'm very thankful the storm didn't hit us directly, but I was in it for some things.

Roger, no need to worry at all, it's all good over here. :)

You know what I find weird.

Usually Hurricanes go through Florida, then go north (giving me rain), but this year a couple Hurricanes went through Florida, but it went west to the Gulf Coast instead, affecting Lousiana & Texas (we need rain in Jersey bad, darn the pattern).

We need rain in Cincinnati too, if it wern't for Katrina giving us 4 inches of rain, everything in Cincinnati would be dead right now. Some parts of my yard where the sun hits the most are dead.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

No kidding, it had me scared to death.

Too bad I'll have that patch of outcast grass in my yard forever. :(

According to the Farmer's Alamac, this will be the last major hurricane for the Gulf Coast this year.  However, Florida has low chance for a hurricane around the late-September and early-October and that's it for this year.
