i think all of them should be killed well those who rape children and women yuh thats my opinion what do you think?

Well, to kill EVERY sex offender is impossible. It already costs a crap load of money to execute the people on death row, now. A lot of them wait YEARS before getting executed. Only 2 or 3 states have death row. Florida is one of them....

I've copied and pasted my responses from a previous debate at another board. I just don't feel like repeating myself on the same subject.

Child Molesters.
I've watched the Woodsman. It's about a pedophile who molested girls between the age of 10-12. He claims he never HURT the girls, but he was still a child molester, and served his twelve years. But he was seeing a therapist, and it came to where he said "When I think of being normal, it means not wanting to hurt those little girls."
There's one scene...he asks an 11 year old if she'd like to sit on his lap. And she said she didn't want to, but that her father asked her all the time. And so Walter (the child molester) asked her if her father asked her when they were alone, if he said odd things when she did, etc, etc, and the girl started and crying....and...and he told her to go home...he..was cured. He was...finally normal in his terms.

So, what I'm saying is, this movie shows the child molester in a different light. It shows that man as someone who is doing something wrong, and in the end knows it, and wishes he didn't have those feelings. Walter was truly sorry he had done the things he did, but he couldn't take them back. Should a man who is already being eaten away inside for what he did be killed for this?

Oh, and go watch The Woodsman, REALLY GOOD MOVIE.

I just really believe in psychotherapy. I have no use for the death penalty, and many child molesters do not kill the children they molest, so really shouldn't get the death sentence for it.
Plus, there's always that tiny iota of a chance they are innocent of their crimes, which is what I constantly refer to. Steven Truscott was almost hanged because the police withheld evidence proving him innocent, and using only the evidence that he could have committed the murder. And that's just one case...soo....yeah.

As for killing a rapist:
If that man has not murdered, why should he die? According to the 'an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth' way of thinking, if you get to do that to him, YOU must be the one to die. YOU are the murderer.

Electric chair is my opinion 1 becuase it's painful & 2 if someone who did something HORRIBLE gets in the electric chair & I see it I luagh.But,why do morons give away personal info like their last name,adress,phone #,etc....I even mean older people like Ssj,Angelene etc... since sex offenders DO stalk adults to.

The person that molested me was never put in jail, never caught, never anything. I have never told anyone, ever. I think Roger is the only one who knows.

Edit: Whoops, I think I said something about it in an English paper, and I told my best friend, of course. But not my mother, father, brothers, none of them know. They would think I was stupid.

That's just stupid Scilla....your parents never knew? That is very irresponsible, your parents should know when something bad happens...because they can help sort it out.
When I got a huge rip on by leg from being pushed around on solid concrete, with glass on the floor, I never told my parents until the bullies did it again.
By then, I had to go to hospital because of serious injuries.
The bullies where kicked out of the school.

Geesh, I was just trying to help.
And if I was raped, it would actually never happen....because I always carry a weapon, I know martial arts and alot of the time I never leave the home area alone.

If you're female (which I know you are) it's best to go out places with someone else who is responsable....I like hiding weapons....strange thing is, I've never had to use one on anyone yet...which is a good thing, probably because I give people 'that look' to show I am aware of my surroundings.
I like being a tom-boy, cause I get good protection from big boys who are my close friends....when I was bullied at school I was VERY feminine....when I turned into a tom-boy I was generally avoided by alot of the typical girly-girls who bug you at school.

But just ignore what I say, I didn't mean to offend you or upset you, I was simply giving you advice.
