One of my close friends, Sam, just recently died from being struck by lightning. Last year, my other close friend, Allen, died.  Last year, the principal put a page about Allen on the first page of our yearbook.  Now, we have a different principal who is putting Sam's on the last page...EVERYONE at my school is angry and starting to pass around petitions to get his page the first one.

:::PRINCIPALS SIDE:::Once we have flipped through our yearbook, our biggest and greatest memory is on the last page, and it will be the last thing we look at once we've gone through the whole yearbook.

:::STUDENTS SIDE:::Sam is important enough to have the first page we look at, and we think about him the most as we look through everything else.

I'm a little on both sides. What about you guys?

Well like in a movie, the dedications come at the end. But then again, in a book its the begining.

I think picture full first page, text dedication last page.

At all the schools I've gone to, the people that have died were on the last page.

First page is defenitly where. Some people don't look on the last page. Most everyone looks on the first.

I would want it on the 1st page, because it's the 1st page you read, and you'll notice it. Most people never read the last page of a yearbook.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

When we had a couple kids in our school die, they were given the page in the exact middle of the book.
