I'm not going to say he left for good because, knowing Alex, he'll probably be back.

But school is a huge stress on him, and USB causes him to procrastinate too much.  I can understand his reasoning for leaving.  I've considered it myself,  but I stay for the people.

What I mean is that you come off looking like a know it all, or a rude jerk.  Take your pick.  Whether you mean to or not may be one thing, but this IS how it looks.  And I am doing a good job, since until very recently, there was no rule against acting silly in the Waste Land.  Whoop de doo.
