Hawthorne Heights is probably the most well-known of these "emo" bands out today...and they're pretty popular around the world.

I personally can't stand them.

They grate on my nerves as well, but I dont have anything against them as a band... I don't quite understand their popularity, because constant depressing music doesn't appeal to me, but whatever floats everyone else's boat.
