Yay! New Super Mario game!!! I love the Wii! Wow, I just realised that I got used to it.

Anyway, the Nintendo conference was pretty cool. You know that mini game thing on the Wii comericial? Is that possibly a hint that there will be a new Wario Ware game for the Wii?

News out of Japan today sheds some light on the Nintendo snub, as Capcom announced that a Resident Evil game is currently in development for the Wii.

The title will be "a new game in the Resident Evil franchise" that combines the series' trademarks with "the revolutionary control system of the Wii." No further details about the game were announced.

Yay! Opera! Internet on the Wii will definately help it become successful.

ALso, I have to say that the Project H.A.M.M.E.R and Disaster games dont really seem that Nintendo-ish. I just think that it lacks that wierd....thing that maked Nintendo games distinguishable from all the rest. Granted, Disaster does have AMAZING graphics, but im still kind of dissapointed.

Disaster: Day of Crisis and Project H.A.M.M.E.R. both look amazing. Disaster is a unque game. Only one game has ever been created like it, and it wasn't even close in comparsion.

Wii is about chaning Nintendo's image, to allow a set of games for all ages, and not just one.

Ill agree, Disaster: Day of Crisis looks amazing, but I still dont really like Project H.A.M.M.E.R. I mean, if you want to go around beating stuff up, then you might as well play Super Smash Bros.

If Resident Evil 5 comes out on the Wii, then I will probably get a Wii.

Otherwise, I may not get anything and just mooch off a friend with a system.

hmmm...I saw a site yesterday that said that the VP of some Sega department let it slip that the launch price of the Wii will be lower than 200$. I need someone to help me find this :(

I searched my entire history, but I think it mighta been before my comp crashed, so no history woulda been saved from that session....

This probably isnt the exact site, but I did find one...

No hints were given regarding price, but Engadget reports Nintendo's Executive VP of Sales and Marketing Reggie Fills-Aime said, "Wii will give you more fun for less money," and Joystiq has heard rumors that the console may launch at around $249.
