Fidel Castro steps down
« on: August 01, 2006, 06:45:59 am »
Well he stepped down because of his internal bleeding in his intestines. So his brother Raul is taking over for a while. Personally I hope he steps down for good. He is getting surgery...and he said his problems were due to stress, hes stressed, but yet does he think about the people in his own country?

Do you think he will take over again after, or do you think he will step down for good?

I think there might be an argument between him and his brother, since he craves power.

What do you think?

Sometimes when I sleep at night I think of (Dr. Seuss's) 'Hop on Pop.'

I don't think it would change anything about the country either way.

Agreed.

His brother is probably as bad as him.

I don't think much will change if the power slightly shifts from him to his brother. 0-0....we just have to wait until Castro dies to see what will really happen.

I think he'll come back into power for a short time and then die soon after. I haven't heard much of his brother, though it is likely he will rule the same way Fidel does. I wonder who will come after Raul.
Mr. Krabs: Do you smell it..that smell...a kind of smelly smell...a smelly smell that smells smelly. Anchovies.
Squidward: What?
Mr. Krabs: ANCHOVIES!
Anchovies: MEEP, MEEP, MEEP.

I probably won't be on here too much being in college and all. I will try to pop on every once in a while though to share my thoughts.

People have been waiting forever for something like this. Raul is only 4 years younger than Fidel, so I doubt he'll live very long after Fidel dies.
