Topic: Anyone else here obsessed over Final Fantasy 7/8/9?

I've only ever played 10 and 10-2....

and like five mins of 7 for PC before i uninstalled it...

the beginning was fairly girly, but it grunged itself up little by little until the end was fairly hardcore. I daresay the best moment of the whole story was Yuna's concert at the Thunder Plane. It pwnt me and my surround sound.

I know what you mean...I was like WTF when that came up! 

You should try listening to Trance Kuja's theme with surround sound! One word: awsome.

I'm not a big fan of the Final Fantasy games at all to be honest, I'm just not a turn based person. I do love Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles though, and its possibly, one of my most favourite games of all time (only in 4 player mode). I also love Kingdom Hearts, which I know has nothing to do with Final Fantasy, but its all made by Square.

Then you should try out 10-2 sometime. They decided to make it a rolling turn-based game, which means that the enemy will never stop attacking, but there is a time meter inbetween your attacks. But anyone can attack once their meter is done refilling, and combo attacks can be done when all of the meters are done.

I enjoyed that type more that previous FF games

9 was fun. 10 I never got around to finishing. 10-2 I decided to quickly defeat with Catnip. I wanted to play 8. I played some of 7 on PC. I would of played it on the normal old PS1, but I couldn't find the CDs (in a room where things that are lost once are lost forever).

I love how Square went back to the old-fasioned FF style in 9....It's my favourite FF game too. The music rocks, the characters are lovable (well, some are detestable) and it has decent amounts of humour, action and adventure.
FF7 is my second fav, but Cloud....he never shut up! Always complained! lol.
