Topic: Why is Karate Island the "best episode"?

I read somewhere that is is voted as the favorite episode...however, I think it REALLY is not, and is not even one of the best episodes.

I don't hate it though; I just don't like it much. And I did not post this opinion just because Karate Island is not one of my favorite episodes-seriously, there are better ones, like nuts, but I just don't get how Karate Island is such a great episode...what is your opinion?

Hate Karate Island. And the spoof on the Naruto hand signs that Sandy did made me laugh and go "how unoriginal."

Yeah! Karate Island is like...meh. Why was it voted the best episode? 0.o

The ONLY good part was the end, when Squidward came...how ironically funny...

I feel sad for the late Pat Morita, because he had to give his voice to this sucky episode. That top 10 or 100 or whatever was so effin rigged it was almost laughable. The top 10 was ALL new episodes, and maybe only or two new episodes could even be considered for top 10 in my opinion (Krusty Towers and Wishing You Well).

It definitely wasn't voted the best episode.  Whoever says that it wasn't rigged can go jump off a cliff.  Not even the top 10.  Bottom 10, probably.

There (to me) are just too many great episodes to name one of them Number 1. I can watch them (and do with 2 children), over & over again. Our favorite in this house is the Jellyfish Jam. We do not sit still through the whole episode. We are blasting the TV/surround sound and having more fun dancing than Spongebob is. There is always at least one thing in every episode that I absolutely love. I was happy when I looked at your pictures and saw in the Spongebob section, the "smirk" from Just One Bite. I have tried so many times to get it with the camera and it just doesn't come out great. Now I can look at it on this site whenever I need a smile from some goofy thing. Thanks...
