Nah, it was 7-0 Badgers for most of the game, but then Purdue got a 17-7 lead in the 4th.  Then we all know what happened...

How can you just fumble like that when you can just kneel the ball

Dude.  It was third down and if they didn't get the first down then they would have to punt it and Wisconsin would have a chance to win.  So they went for the first down, and made it, but fumbled the ball, game, big ten championship, and national championship hopes away.  That's how it goes.

They could punt it but keep Wisconsin from getting a touchdown and get a field goal to tie it

The first BCS polls came out today, and you'll never guess what followed it: CONTROVERSY!!  It has USC in its rihtful place at #1, but has Miami leapfrogging Oklahoma for the 2nd slot.  Why?  I wouldn't have the slightest idea.  The Canes probably have had the more difficult schedule, but also came dangerously close to losing, TWICE.  The Sooners won their biggest game of the year soundly, and their smallest margin of victory was 10.  I think everyone will agree with me when I say OU should be #2.

Also of note is that Utah is at #7, which means they are one spot short of ensuring themselves of a BCS Bowl game.  Not sure if they deserve it over teams like Georgia, Texas, and Cal, but it would be interesting to see them in a BCS game.

Man, did Oklahoma survive a scare... was only one 49 yard FG away from overtime.  And right now, my beloved Gophers are losing....... to the friggin' Indiana Hoosiers (hangs head in shame).

(sigh) Just when you think the Gophers season couldn't get any worse they go ahead and lose..... TO THE UNIVERSITY OF INDIANA!!!  Sheesh, most people in Indiana aren't even aware they have a football program, yet somehow we managed to screw up and lose.  (bangs head against the wall)

Well, since we're done and heading to some no-name bowl, (puts on University of Utah hat) GO UTES!!!
