How does saying "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance equal Hitler's brainwashing? It's just a phrase.

How else do you teach stuff,

Quote
they grow up hearing its real their entire life, so they never doubt it.

I grew up hearing that the world was round; even though I have never gone around it, I don't doubt that its true.

I grew up being repeatedly told that red was red; though maybe you see it as blue, but I don't really doubt that it's red.

Everything we know is learned mostly from constant repetition, and if the teachers believe it to be true, then it will be taught.

I would guess however that:
Everyone who has ever believed in God has more than likely at some or many points doubted the truth behind their beliefs. What you are talking about is faith, thats the part which takes away the doubt.

The world is round. Just ask the people who been to space.

I haven't done the pledge allegiance since 5th grade. I still know it by heart. As for the under god thing, It doesn't have to be the catholic god. It can also be the Allah or Budah(I hope I spelled that right)

Well, if they tought people religon at 25 or something, they wouldn't believe it. So they teach it to 5-10 year olds first and get them to believe to believe.

ESP: There is actual proof the earth is round.

Liberalism is an atheist instituition.  That is why they are all for taking out the 'Under God,'.  It came from the Enlightenment, which was built on an Atheist structure.  Conservatives you'd never see try to pull crap like this.  Even if one were an atheist, which is rarer for a Conservative ten fold, he'd NEVER want to pull this kind of crap pull under god out.  Atleast he'd have more respect!

The difference between religion and the world being round is that one is based on "faith" (fiction), the other, fact.

If you think faith is fiction, you've failed.

Faith is something stronger than you think. Without faith, I bet there would be no Internet.
