This may seem like old news or something once you look at it, but it's like an in-depth on what the world thinks of America. However it is really a negative outlook. I remember looking at a similar survey like that one back in late 2001, but that one was more of a postive outlook than seeing this one.

That's the REAL problem with us, we don't care. This is the real reason why we're getting attacked and all.

Plus when I looked at that poll I realized that the countries we don't really pay any attention to are the ones likeing us, and the countries we keep hearing about in the media over and over again are the ones that critisizing us.

Heh, at least MSP needs a debate lesson.

2. Corparate Greed
3. Bush is thought of as Dumb

It's not so much that we make mistakes, it's that most of the tightwad politicians refuse to believe that we, no, THEY, have made mistakes and refuse to fix them because, as MSP said, "this is the best country in the world and we are the big shot bosses of the world, and we demand ponies".

I'm afraid you don't want the world as one big country, because then we'd have one world leader. Which is the beginning of the end, according to the Bible.

Personally, why do many Canadians hate Bush? Well, at first we didn't hate him. We just thought he was a bad leader, and prayed that the Americans weren't stupid enough to vote him back in. But they did. And now, America has actually threatened Canada!!

As for MSP and his not caring....if y'all thought that way, my dear, you wouldn't see it coming if many of the other superpowers got together and kicked you butts. So my advice is...DO care.

america is a lovely country for it's sight seeing, and many of it's locals are friendly...but there are too many problems with america aswell.
But why bring Bush back? When you all seemed to HATE him?
And why is it america won't sign the thing about global warming?
Every other country has! Even Japan!!
America alone makes 20% of the worlds pollution, the remaining 80% is from other countries worldwide.
That poll thing is correct, since I remember them talking about it on Sky News.

Fact is, not everyone hates Bush. You're just seeing that on this forum and there is always a scandal involved. The majority of people who vote are over 50. People vote because of different issues. I personally believe Bush got us into Iraq becasue of oil fields and to finish daddy's business. Not all people believe that and think its because of terrorism. Plus, older people want to make sure they get all their benefits. Not everyone who hates Bush actually knows what they're talking about. Same with Bush lovers.

This is exactly the reason why people hate you. Over here in Australia if an American comes to live here, or visit here or whatever, people are like "Wow, how did you even find out we existed?"

I don't have a problem with all Americans, just ones with MSPs attitude, it's Americans like him that give the rest of you a bad name. You expect the rest of the world to come rushing at your feet when you have a problem, or you're in trouble and then don't give the people that helped you any thanks at all, it's all America is the greatest this, and America is the greatest that. I mean, MSP, have you been to every other country on the planet to say that you are the best? I don't think so! What exactly are we supposed to be jealous of? The fact that you live in a country full of crime, where 2 people are killed every hour? Erm...well, sorry to burst your bubble, but I like living in a country where I feel safe walking down the street, and where we only have 1 or 2 killings a month...in a bad month. Though I would be happy to listen to anything else you have to say that you think might make us jealous.

I can see, however, that most of you are really nice people; it's just some of you that let the others down. Sorry if I really offended anyone other than MSP, I was just telling you what it's like from someone who isn't from America.
