Yes, the long awaited 2004 NFL season is finally here (HALLELUJAH!), and not a moment too soon. The first game of the season is tonight as the Indianapolis Colts tries to revenge their AFC Championship loss to the eventual Super Bowl champions New England Patriots. And then on Sunday, the season really gets underway, with a full slate of action.
Of course, though, the most anticipated game of the week is tonight. Indianapolis gets to start off their 2004 campaign against the team that ended their 2003 one. Peyton Manning played horrible in the 21-14 loss, throwing 4 interceptions. Of course, the Colts need to have Manning sharp if they want to win the game.
But the New England Patriots have a lot going for them. They won the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, they haven't lost since September of last year, and they added RB Corey Dillon over the offseason. Oh, and they still have Tom Brady and the best coach in the league in Bill Belichick. And with the game played at Gillete Stadium, that just gives another advantage to the Patriots.
My prediction for tonight's game: New England 23, Indianapolis 13. I'll probably be totally wrong, but oh well.
Here's the Week 1 schedule, in case anyone cares:
Thursday, Sep. 9
Indianapolis at New England, 9:00 pm
Sunday, Sep. 12
Arizona at St. Louis, 1:00 pm
Baltimore at Cleveland, 1:00 pm
Cincinnati at N.Y. Jets, 1:00 pm
Detroit at Chicago, 1:00 pm
Jacksonville at Buffalo, 1:00 pm
Oakland at Pittsburgh, 1:00 pm
San Diego at Houston, 1:00 pm
Seattle at New Orleans, 1:00 pm
Tampa Bay at Washington, 1:00 pm
Tennessee at Miami, 1:00 pm
Atlanta at San Francisco, 4:15 pm
Dallas at Minnesota, 4:15 pm
N.Y. Giants at Philadelphia, 4:15 pm
Kansas City at Denver, 8:30 pm
Monday, Sep. 13
Green Bay at Carolina, 9:00 pm
Only 11 hours and 2 minutes till the kickoff of tonight's game! Good gravy, I'm going insane waiting.
-
New England = da best
-
Green Bay = Ownage

I have met my bitter enemy on this forum.

Wow, another game affected by a hurricane. The Titans/Dolphins has been moved up to Saturday due to Hurricane Ivan. (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1877994)
Wonder if I'll still be able to see the game on DirecTV.
-
Too many hurricanes X_X
-
Too many hurricanes X_X
Yeah. I mean, I remember thinking in July that there hasn't been many hurricanes this year, and now there's a hurricane every week. It's getting fairly annoying...... they're screwing up everything.
Stupid natural disasters.
-
Let's blame the things that never know when they are going to occur -.-
-
yeah i cant wait. this weekend is going to be awesome.
-
Who do you think will win the Super Bowl
-
It's going to be the Vikings and the Ravens in the Super Bowl, with the Vikes finally winning it all.
Edit: OK, what self respecting football fan would want to listen to Jessica Simpson? Or any of the other artists on the pregame show, for that matter? They should just scrap the pregame show, since they suck at scheduling the artists so much.
Edit #2: 3-0 NE, but Indy is in the red zone....... Indy will have to sttle for the FG. 3-3.
Edit #3: Dang, nice way to start the NFL season. Patriots win due to a key sack by Willie McGinest, which turned a 30-something FG into a 46-yard FG, and Vanderjagt missed it. Brady just might be the best QB in the league, and he had a very solid night.
However, if James didn't have those two key fumbles, the Colts would've won. But all in all, a very exciting game.
-
NFL is so overrated because they can't score as good as College...
Everyone at my church dislikes the NFL and loves the college football
-
What's wrong with a little defense?
-
I like them about the same....
-
bah...I wanna see College vs NFL
-
bah...I wanna see College vs NFL
College teams would get their butts kicked by any NFL team even the Lions......................... YUP YUP they might look all good but NFL teams are lots better college is only kids.....

A few years ago, the Hurricanes could've given the Bengals a run for their money....
-
Oklahoma could whoop anyone
-
Not if Jason White was quarterback...
Jason White would literally die if he was playing in the NFL right now. No question.

Eh...I doubt it...
-
Well then you don't have any concept of the difference between the NFL and NCAA. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching college more, but when it comes to the talent and awareness of the players, they don't compare.

Who cares if NFL has more experience...college has the scores and the defense for it
-
Dude, defense in the NFL is played so much faster than in college, its not even funny. You can't tell a difference when you're watching a game, but once you're out on the field, you'll know. College is at a completely different level... that's why most teams are able to score so much.
-
College ownz NFL
-
Arrr, if I care anything for NFL, it's Redskins = w00t.
-
Redskins will get beaten by patriots, vikings, ravens, and colts
-
We're only a few more hours till kickoff, and I'm getting anxious.
Anyone have any predictions for some of today's games? Here is mine:
Jaguars 23 Bills 27
Raiders 21 Steelers 30
Lions 19 Bears 20
Ravens 31 Browns 3
Bucs 19 Redskins 16
Chargers 30 Texans 38
Cardinals 20 Rams 45
Seahawks 38 Saints 24
Bengals 24 Jets 34
Giants 9 Eagles 27
Falcons 23 49ers 21
Cowboys 19 Vikings 28 (like I would pick the Vikings to lose)
Chiefs 35 Broncos 27
-
Lions are playing right now. :original:
I think the Lions will win atleast 6 games this season. They are too young to make it the division round.
-
Dang, what's wrong with the Rams? They're only up 6-3 at halftime against the flippin' Cardinals.
And the Ravens, too. Down 3-0 to the Browns? Where's the offense, boys?

Whoops, that was supposed to say Bengals 24 Jets 34.
Steelers looking good, except for that one long TD pass given up.
-
I think this year no one cares that much as last year
-
what about carolina? can they win like last year? i was supprised how good they did last year. up to then i havent even heard of our qb.
-
I think this year no one cares that much as last year
I just think there isn't as many interesting matchups as last year.
The Jets offense is looking very sharp... wouldn't be surprised to see them in the playoffs this year. And the Rams and Ravens are both losing. Cardinals might pull off the HUGE upset.
-
Yay! Lions are winning!

Lions won! 24-game road losing streak SNAPPED!
What a good, close, game.

I am watching that. :original:
-
Three words: prevent defense sucks. The Vikes should be up 14-3 right now, but we got conservative and let the Cowboys back into the game. Hopefully our offense will keep playing well, and actually get Moss the ball.
In other news, the Eagles look scary. 24 points already? Yikes. And the Vikes face them next week. And I wonder if Ken Dorsey can lead the 49ers to a come fronm behind victory. He looked pretty sharp from what I've seen.
-
...

Yes I am.
-
WooT! Eagles 31 Giants 10. With a whole quarter and 5 minutes to go! T.O has 3 touchdown catches.
-
I don't think anyone can stop him...
-
eagles are beating the giants. my dad cant even watch it anymore
-
1 and 0, baby! Vikings pull off a solid win over the Cowboys 35-17!
The Boys put up a valiant effort, but the Vikes offense was just too powerful. I mean, Culpepper could be on his way to his best season of his career. And while Moss didn't matter much, he freed up space for Burleson, Robinson, & Campbell to gain yardage. And while the D didn't have a great game, at least they didn't give up points. And that's all that matters.
Next week, though, should be very interesting. Vikings and the Eagles, on Monday night. Should be good.
-
I don't think anyone can stop him...
I think there's the patriots...
-
Chiefs/Broncos just got underway.... and why is Pat Summerall doing the game? Didn't he retire?
Eh... hopefully he doesn't totally dilute my enjoyment of the game.

Pat Summerall is anything but young. He's got to be at least 75 years old.
Chiefs up 7-3 in the middle of the first.

Is that the kicker?
-
Mike Patrick Had open heart suregery(sp?) so he'll be gone for a while. Yes, next monday will be intense. I'm watching the cheifs game and trent green just got sacked for a 23 yard loss!
I picked the cheifs to win the super bowl.
-
Is that the kicker?
LOL, he's the announcer. He's the guy who worked with John Madden on FOX all those years, although his work has steadily declined in recent years.

Well, what football player?
Still 7-3 Chiefs.
-
Eh...the kicker...that old dude
-
Uh... Jason Elam is 34 years old, and the KC kicker is in his 20s. (Ihave a feeling we're not on the same wavelength)
Good gravy, are the referees morons or what? They forget to give KC 5 yards on the penalty, then they redo the play, and give KC five extra yards, and then finally they get it right.
-
I think its the Minnesota kicker. Something Anderson, he is old.
-
I think he means Morten Anderson. What happened to him?
-
Morten Andersen is 44 years old, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, but kickers can stay for a LONG time. All they gotta do is kick.
-
Yeah, but kickers can stay for a LONG time. All they gotta do is kick.
Good thing they can kick well into their forties.... the only kickers that don't suck for the Vikes are 40 something guys.
And for the many Lions fans on the board, Charles Rogers might miss the rest of the season, (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1880368) which must be a huge buzzkill after the big win today.

Morten Andersen?
Broncos up 27-24.... getting pretty interesting. Holmes and Griffin are having monster games.

Tonight's Monday Night Football.... Packers vs. Panthers. Hopefully the Panthers will dominate at home, and the Packers drop to 0-1.

Panthers have a better defense than that

Panthers: 24. Packers: 31.

Is Brett Favre still playing? That oldster
-
Favre's not THAT old...... he's only 34.
-
Favre's not THAT old...... he's only 34.
He's been there FOREVER!
-
Sigh, tonight's going to be a long night. The Brett Favre buttkissing has already begun on SportsCenter and probably won't stop till the game is over. Ron Jaworski just found a way to defend Favre's horrible pass in overtime of the NFC Divisional game. And tonight Madden will find a way to praise Favre ad infinitum whenever he makes a good play, and find a way to blame the recievers or the coaches or whoever once Favre throws an errant pass. I really, really hope he plays badly tonight so the buttkissing won't extend into the rest of the week.
-
Kenny Blankenship, there is no need to swear about it on a kids site.
-
Eh, sorry. I get easily annoyed whenever Favre gets worshipped to no end.
-
That's why he is old and should retire
-
I think there's the patriots...
I think the Patriots got ran over by the Colts the other night... yeah.
Why is Pat Summerall doing the game?
The other dude who usually does the Sunday night games is sick or something... he should come back soon.
I get easily annoyed whenever Favre gets worshipped to no end.
At least Favre has been around a while and has proven himself. I can't stand all the talk about Tom Brady.

Well, Brady is entering the prime of his career. Favre's skills have been steadily declining over the past few years, yet all the experts still fawn over him.
All QBs are overrated, anyway. Offensive linemen deserve a lot more credit than they get.

More like defensive
-
Defensive lineman get at least some credit. Any casual football fan would know names like Michael Strahan, Jevon Kearse, & Warren Sapp. I don't think any casual fan would be able to name any offensive lineman.

Matt Birk, Tra Tomas, Kevin Mawae, Olin Kreutz, Jon Runyan, Will Sheilds, Tom Nalen, Robert Gallery, John welborne, Larry Allen, Flozel Adams, Marco Rivera, Chris Smauels, etc. I can name more linemen. Linemen rule!
Anyway Panthers and packers are on tonight. I expect the panthers to win.

The key word was "casual". If I mentioned those names to my Dad, who only watches Vikings games, I'd probably get a blank stare. And then he'd make my clean my room, but that's not really important right now.
Anyway, the game is underway, and the Panthers have already forced the Pack to punt. Go Panthers.

Yes, but I don't like the Panthers even more.
I saw the touchdown, he almost dropped it.
-
Uh, this is the same team that made it to the Super Bowl?
Panthers are getting murdered... down 24-7 in the 4th.

It's 24-14...thats not coo

Oh yeah! Packers won! I knew it.
-
They got lucky off those turnovers
-
Carolina just flat out stunk last night. I thought their defensive line was supposed to be one of the best in the league, but they let Ahman Green run all over them. I don't think the Panthers will be making a re-appearance in the playoffs this year (especially since Steve Smith might be missing a good chunk of time).
-
One of the guys off of sportscenter said that green bay has the best offense and panthers have the best defense O_o;;

i am not officially southern. i like to think of it as a yankee stuck in the south. i am not southern at all personality wise. i am not all hyped up about the confederate and stuff. the south will not rise again. all of that is bs to me

No, Patriots won, not the Colts.
Excuse me, where did I say that the Colts won? Read what I said.

No, he said that the Panthers have one of the best defensive lines, and the Packers have one of the best offensive lines. Big difference.

Oh, well that's different. Would've probably agreed with that 24 hours ago, but the Panther's performance last night has left me sour on the whole team, I wouldn't agree with that now.

Good gravy, did anyone see this? It's the Fox Sports NFL Power Rankings (http://msn.foxsports.com/story/3013202), and it just might be the worst one I've ever seen. Seriously, there's so many things wrong with the list it's not even funny. How the heck are the Lions below the Texans, Giants, and Dolphins??
-
Patriots are where they are suppose to be
-
Patriots are where they are suppose to be
Well, there's not much else that was right in that.
Anyway, here are my predictions for today's ballgames:
(pick record so far this year: 8-7. Gee, surprised I'm even above .500)
Texans 23 Lions 30
Broncos 17 Jaguars 20
Bears 17 Packers 27
Steelers 14 Ravens 20
Colts 28 Titans 24
Panthers 27 Chiefs 31
49ers 21 Saints 14 (upset of the week)
Redskins 28 Giants 7
Rams 27 Falcons 23
Seahawks 24 Bucs 10
Bills 17 Raiders 24
Patriots 34 Cardinals 16
Jets 35 Chargers 21
Browns 13 Cowboys 20
Dolphins 10 Bengals 28
-
Texans
Jaguars
Bears
Ravens
Titans
Panthers
49ers
Giants
Rams
Seahawks
Raiders
Patriots
Jets
Cowboys
Dolphins

Oh, what a beautiful day!!!
The Packers lost 21-10 to the Bears, thus ending the Super Bowl talk for at least a week. Favre looked horrible, and the Bears actually looked like a decent team. Really like their offense.
-
The NFL is so unpredictable... but that's cool, and Indy won. :original:
Last week I was 10-6 (compare that to 22-3 for college).
My picks for this week:
Detroit
Kansas City
New Orleans
St. Louis
Green Bay
Washington
Denver
Baltimore
Indianapolis
Seattle
Dallas
New York
New England
Oakland
Cincinnati
Philadelphia
So far I'm 4-5...
-

I like the bears, they're my 2nd favorite team.
My mom got knocked out of a football pool in week 1 so me and her are picking games each week. I picked the jets she picked the patriots. I don't go for locks.
-
St Louis lost spongey :)
-
Man, just two points off on my Cleveland/Dallas prediction.
And I'd like to declare the following teams done for: Kansas City, St. Louis, Tampa Bay.
-
Tampa Bay should hold strong this year
-
Their offense sure did squat against Seattle and Washington.
-
Lions are 2-0. I imagine this year being the breakout year. Yet, it is still too early. :original:
-

Don't get too confident yet. They've only played Chicago and Houston, not exactly the greatest compeitition in the world.

-
Lions...bah...whatever happened to the greatest player back then...a few years ago
Barry Sanders? He retired 5 years ago.
Anyway, tonight's the night. Vikings vs. Eagles. Only 11 hours and 18 minutes left till kickoff.
-
5 years ago? Why? I never heard about this...
-
Perhaps you should pay attention more.....
Anyway, I don't think anyone knows why he retired. Probably was tired of the game and the toll it took on his body.
-
He was one of the best though...him and Ricky Williams...that turd -.-
-
OK, prediction time.
It's a given that the Vikings offense will put up points. The question is how well will the Vikings defense, and more specifically, the secondary perform. We allowed 355 yards through the air against Vinny and the Cowboys, and McNabb and co. looked very sharp against the Giants last week. It might be a long night if McNabb and Owens play as well as against the Giants.
But I've got to pick the Vikes to win. I just can't pick against them when they have just about everything going for them. Plus, the Eagles in recent years have always suffered an early season loss. So, I say Minnesota wins in a close one, 27-24.
-
Well, well so the eagles versus vikings. It WILL be very cloes. I can't see our deffense stoping the vikes but ya never know what scheme jim johnson will use. Our deffense will bend but not break. I can't see the vikes stoping the eagles either. We shreaded a decent giants secondary last week but i think vikings have better deffensive backs. Brian Westbrook will be the EX-factor tonight and will keep the vikes on their heels. Therefore I believe the eagles with a little luck will win a close one.
-
Eagles rule over Vikings...no doubt...with TO there
-
Eagles will cream the Vikings. No contest.
-
Eagles will cream the Vikings. No contest.
Don't think you're giving the Vikings enough credit.
Anyway, I'm jazzed for this game. Haven't been this excited for a Monday Night game since the Vikings/Packers game in 98 (the breakout game for Moss).
-
Vikings dont have the talent to keep up with the Eagles
-
I think that the Vikings have a good chance of winning, but I'll pick the Eagles. I hope Moss has a big day, though.
-
Good chance? Hehehehe...maybe at some other teams :)
-
Actually, the Vikings have a better team. They sould win. But in the NFL, it all comes down to who shows up to play and who gets the lucky breaks.
-
TO has been unstoppable lately :)
-
Dude, that was one game. Look at the Packers last week, then look what they did yesterday. Things change. Moss and Owens should have equally big nights, despite being double, and maybe even triple, covered all the time.
-
T.O. = owned city
You cant touch him...
-
(sigh) Should be up 17-10(really 17-3 thanks to that bogus holding call on us that saved the TD drive for Philly), but failure to execute inside the 5 yard line have killed us. But the game's not over yet. We can still come back and win it. Although we'll need to play better on D and execute on O.
In happier news, the Twins clinched the AL Central.
-
I'm guessing their the only team so far...
-
I'm guessing their the only team so far...
If you're talking about the Twins, then no. The Cardinals also clinched.
And this game is thoroughly depressing. One, that Owens TD was NOT a touchdown. Two, the Vikings have repeatedly shot themselves in the foot whenever they get into the red zone. Three, how many penalties can we get?
24-16 now.
-
If they try a field goal...its gonna be bad
-
Well, of course. The game would end right there.
-
27-16 now...GO EAGLES!
-
Game over. We're 1-1. But it's still early in the season. We'll rebound (hopefully).
-
They'll meet again in the playoffs
-
They'll meet again in the playoffs
I hope so.... but hopefully the Vikes concentrate on actually making the playoffs first.
-
Nice pic btw
Vikings will make it...but it will be super close
-
I knew the Vikings would lose..
-
I knew the Vikings would lose..
Yeah, congratulations  .
Anyway, the Vikes have three easily winnable games in the next four weeks against Chicago, Houston, and New Orleans. So we have a great chance at being 4-1 into the Tennessee game.
-
Well, your lucky, you got all good professional sports teams. I only got the Pistons and Red Wings (Which won't be around since the lockout) good. I gotta root for the Tigers and Lions.
-
Well, at least your Pistons and Red Wings have won some championships in the past few years. I would gladly trade our teams being consistently good yet consistently choking in the playoffs for a few titles....
-

Don't be so sure about Chicago...they beat Green Bay
-
Don't be so sure about Chicago...they beat Green Bay
Yeah, I know. But they made beating Green Bay their top priority, and since they already accomplished that, they're primed for a let down. Plus, the game is at the Metrodome.
-
Chicago has a good team though...so it'll be a tough competition
-
Wow, after a horrible start, I finished 11-5, one game better than last week.
This week's games look pretty interesting...

Week 3 perdictions.

I just want Houston, Dallas, and Chicago to win
-
Gee, another Dolphins home game, another hurricane to screw things up (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1888519). This time, the game has been postponed till Sunday night, or perhaps Monday.

Viking leading 10-6 at half, although we should be leading by more. Red zone offense is still an achilles heel for us, but we should be able to pull this game out.
Detroit losing 21-7 to the Eagles.... Philly is looking VERY impressive.

Scary isn't it?
They gotta keep up the winning in not get into a slump like minnesota last year.
-
Why is this so emportant
If you don't like NFL...don't post...
-
yeah this for the people who like it...what games us everyone looking foward to? picks?
-
Here are my picks for Sunday's slate of games (11-3 last week, 29-16 on the year)
Patriots 27 Bills 16
Eagles 35 Bears 10
Colts 24 Jaguars 20
Browns 21 Redskins 16
Texans 24 Raiders 23 (upset)
Packers 30 Giants 19
Steelers 27 Bengals 17
Panthers 20 Falcons 13
Cardinals 23 Saints 20 (upset #2)
Broncos 17 Bucs 10
Jets 24 Dolphins 10
Titans 38 Chargers 27
49ers 31 Rams 27 (upset #3)
Yep, I'm going upset happy this week, but I truly believe all three have legitimate shots at winning.
Edit: Ka-ching!! Packers lose!! This made my day.
And dang, one point off on the Steelers/Bengals game.
-
what games is everyone watching
-
WAS watching Vikes/Texans, and the Vikes almost blew it reminiscent of other local sports teams. But thankfully we didn't (oh hooray). Gee, of all the games the Minnesota Sports teams we played this weekend, we had to only win this one, the least important of the games.
The Vikings are done. We have no chance to make any noise come playoff time. We should just hand the NFC North crown to Detroit.
-
patriots won their 19th in a row. they annoy me
-
This is too good to be true.... Titans beating the Packers 17-0 in the FIRST QUARTER.
Of course, the refs have to be totally unbiased (sarcasm) and overturn a clear INT for the Titans, and now it's 17-3.
-
Wow... someone decided not to show up last night.
I went 7-7 again, and I am really mad a Seattle. Really, really, really.
Ah well, I'll do better this week...
-
Man, Steelers/Cowboys....... great game. Down 3 with 2 minutyes left, the Steelers force a fumble on 3rd down and return it to the 25, setting up a 1 yard scamper by the Bus with 30 seconds left. It's nice to see the Steelers at 5-1, I've always had a fondness for them, and are probably my 2nd favorite team.
Vikings/Saints in 40 minutes. Vikes should win, but you never know what Saint team will show up. One week they beat the Rams, the next they get blown out by the Cardinals.
-
ARGH!Dolphins lost again!
-
Go Cheifs yah
-
Well, the Vikes won. It came at a price, though. Moss got injured late in the 2nd quarter, and hopefully it's not serious (it didn't look like it was). But you know, if Culpepper keeps performing like this, I might not recognize that Randy's out. Wow, he is putting up RIDICULOUS numbers, and has to be the early favorite for the MVP.
-
ARGH!Dolphins lost again!
They wont win more than 2...this year
-
ARGH!Dolphins lost again!
They wont win more than 2...this year
Even that might be a little optimistic....
So, with the 1st pick in the 2005 draft, who do the Dolphins take?? Do they draft RB or QB? They are dreadfully pitiful at both positions....
-
They draft a quaterback, Aaron Rodgers from Cal (poor guy ).
Week 9, Monday Night: Minnesota - Indianapolis. First to 63 wins.
-
ARGH!Dolphins lost again!
0-6
-
the iggles (eagles) are 5-0! Revenge is sweet.
-
Anyone hear that Jerry Rice got traded to the Seahawks??
Although Rice is WAY up there in age, I think this move will be beneficial for his career. The Raiders under Norv Turner are utilizing more of a vertical passing attack, and since Rice can't blaze by defenders anymore, he was lost in the shuffle. Now he is moving to a west coast offense, a style of offense he is very familiar with, and very successful at. He won't tear up the league, but I think he'll be fine in Seattle.
-
Eh...Jerry Rice is ancient. He needs to retire soon just like E. Smith
-
Rice should do just fine. Maybe he'll teach the other Seahawks receivers to actually catch the ball.
-

No...they will still stink...like the 49ers
-
Anyone see the scores fotr today's early games? Chiefs MURDERED the Falcons 56-10, & the Dolphins actually won a game? Huh? Against the Rams, nontheless? What?
Oh, and go Cowboys.

dolphins won? wooo lets go for a comeback season. haha
-
[sarcasm] Wow, great performance by the Vikings today... just an all-around great effort, and they played to absolute perfection. Man, what a game. [/heavy sarcasm]
At least the Lions lost, so we keep our NFC North lead (for now). Oh, joy.
-
pats are losing. i am enjoying every minute of this
-
same here. I don't hate them but it's about time they lose.
-
Patriots must burn. Keep it up, Steelers.
-
woot it's 30-10. this is great but now i'm getting worried for next week.
-
Yay! This is a happy day (well, at least partially -- the Colts lost again ). Feel the pain, Patriots. Hopefully the Eagles lose next week.
-
It's ok...Patriots hold 1 record and could hold 1 more
-
Yes! Steelers beat the Eagles rather handily, and drop Philly to 7-1. Even better than the result is that TO didn't score  . Anyway, it was great seeing one of my favorite players, Jerome Bettis, rumble and stumble all over the D like he used to do. And the Steelers are 7-1. Hmmm, could they be this year's Super Bowl champions? They just might be.
-
17-10 Redskins against Lions. Lions have the ball and it's 4th down. And they.... GOT IT!
1 minute left in the game.
-
Lions lose... which means the Vikings will keep the NFC North lead for one more week, before relinquishing it to the Packers. Hooray.
