The Children's "Educational" programming they're talking about isn't even that educational but then again most of the Saturday Morning Cartoon's aren't.

Kids need to watch more mindless, fun television.  More good versus evil.  Everything is SO sanitary/educational that it's disgusting.  America is raising a bunch of wimps.  It is important to have some educational TV, but where did the shows with the good guys beating up the bad guys go?  Those are what should be playing on Saturday Mornings.

Excuse me, but when I was little the Care Bears, and Thundercats, and Rainbow Brite, and He-Man/She-Ra, and the Ninja Turtles was what came on Saturday mornings, and bad guys got beat up.  Children ages 3 (I was three and four when this was going on)-10 everywhere loved it.

I honestly can't say I cared much for Nick Jr. shows being shown on CBS, but I don't like the idea of replacing them with FCC-friendly DiC shows. I'd rather CBS show the real meat and potatoes of Nickelodeon on Saturday mornings, but that's not likely to happen because those shows aren't exactly FCC-friendly.....at least not for network TV. :glare:

CBS is the most watched network (still?) on TV. Channel 5 here :|

It's for old people though :P
