Title: Our goodbyes
Post by: spongey snail on October 18, 2005, 06:08:00 pm
Well,it being the new generation at the end of this year I think we should look back at the good times with our old consoles.

(as seen on g4)

Dreamcast-(I think of it as a this gen console)
       1999-2001

Although it did not have a very long run it was still a great selling console.
Sega sold 50,000 dreamcast's in the first three weeks. It was looking good for Sega until 2001,when sony launched there ps2.It not only put Sega out of the console bussines, but  it did it in just one month. But even after all of that, the dreamcast is still my favorite console.

I don't need to say goodbye to anything. I'm still going to play Playstation 2 and go on Xbox Live (Halo 2). Hell, I still play the original PS games (Megaman X4 and X5, Final Fantasy VII-IX, Star Ocean, Metal Gear Solid).

I miss mine really mine. I tripped over one of its cables one time, and it broke, and now it doesn't work. :(

A cord broke for mine too. The one that plugs into the TV. So sad... they never should've stopped making those. :(

Sega Genesis is a classic that I still play to this day. After the old one broke, it was off to eBay for a new one. It's hard to stop playing it.

I know and I just don't get how nintendo stayed in and sega didn't,I mean I think in my opinion that the dreamcast could beat the gamecube if it got a chance to compeate with it.
