I really want to see this. I saw the trailer last night on Fox and it looked SO good. I just got back into watching the Simpsons (I used to a long time ago) but my sister HATES it, and my mom finds it amusing at times. So I'll probably see it alone.

The simpsons is my fav show of all time, so me and my girlfriend are goin to see it the day it comes out on a night showing.then I probably will go see it again with my friends. Me and my girlfriend are both Simpsons nerds. The trailer shown on FOX on 2-18 renewed my hope the movie will rock. None of yall are as big a fan as me! If so answer this question:

Yeah, I think that was just a TV spot, and someone on NoHomersClub (another board I go to) said it will premiere with Pirates 3. The commercial had a lot of great scenes (Lookz nice in 3-D) but not as good as the trailer from Feb. And the 24 parody was freakin awesome too last night. (BTW, saw Shrek: only Trailer 3 (Feb. One) came on. Looks great on big screen though).

2. It has been confirmed by the producers and viewers of the advance screenings that Bart did have a scene nude at the last second of the movie (with the rest of the movie jokingly covering it up). Animated nudity, I don't think, is considered official porn so it could have still earned a PG-13 (just unlikely).

Yeah, I saw the new trailer on the 21st, but due to my compuiter screwing up, I couldn't post it. I love it, and I just saw Evan Almighty and it was with it. I really don't care for the "Bible" joke, due to the fact I'm a Christian.

They've already started heavily promoting it. Saw one on Nick last Sat., one on FOX the next day, one on Nick, MTV, and Comedy Central after that, 3 on FX, one on ESPN, more on FOX during the All-Star game, and 3 more just now on FOX, during the Astros and Cubs game. I'm so excited!! 12 days!

Although I love the Simpsons classical humour of the 90's, I do not like the newer episodes.
However, the film shows more classical humour that the Simpsons was known for...so I will certainly be seeing it on the big screen.
But...I would rather watch a Futurama movie. :ph34r:

Sorry, from some weird reason it says I'm banned from the fourm on my homer computer, but it'll work on my dad's phone. Anyway, saw it at the midnight showing on Thursday. Seriously, best movie experience ever. The movie was great. My favorite joke was Homer flipping everyone off, but the FOX gag and Marge cussing are close. Only one thing wrong- I think the Lisa-Colin plot was a bit underdeveloped. Otherwise, it was perfect. The Marge video was the best voice acting I've ever heard. Animation was beautiful as well. Favorite scene was the gas station scene. Flanders also wasn't the jerk that he's been in the past 2 seasons. That was one thing that made me love the Bart-Flanders plot so much. Also, what happened to Plopper? Maybe he died, or Santa's Little Helper ate him (he did say he had to do some bad things.) The best kiss of my life thing was great too. Bart's down-under was the biggest laugh of the theater. I thought it would be terrible, but it was great because it was executed so well. The gay cops thing was a little unexpected and weird. So, this was a 4.5/5 on the first time I saw it, but I saw it again Fri. Night and it is now a 5/5. Also, the Itchy and Scratchy short had no blood! I guess that was to escape an R rating.

I read some cool news today related to the DVD release, but I can't seem to find the site. I do remember one tidbit, which is that there will be an option to watch the entire movie in the crude animation style that the characters were first seen in on "The Tracey Ullman Show". Pretty cool.

That was a mockup done by someone at a fansite (I think it was the No Homers Club) and was later published on a website from someone who thought it was real.

The DVD is coming out. Nice. The Simpsons movie pwned, I laughed throughout the whole thing it was just that funny (I even clapped at the end, which I normally don't do for movies). So many great one liners.
