Title: Can You Imagine?
Post by: ssj4gogita4 on August 17, 2005, 03:59:33 pm
Working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

29 have been accused of spousal abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

19 have been accused of writing bad checks

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

Can you guess which organization this is?

Give up yet?!

It's the 535 members of the United States Congress.

The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Wow.  I never realized all that before. >_<  Maybe the U.S.  should think twice about who we elect.

Hmm. Well, Thats Bush for you. Lets not forget money is power and the more money you have the more people in your back pocket. This really isnt a surprise. And I wouldnt be surprised if they all got aquitted, either. The American public doesnt care. They just want the pretty blonde girl to win American Idol.

Not really. Stalin and Lenin both were actually pretty poor.

It's not really that suprising to me.  Maybe because I am not as naive as I used to be. Once you enter high school though you realize that everything isn't all sunshine in a bag. You learn that the majority of high schoolers do stupid things like this. I know a few kids who have got arrested before. This is honestly not shocking though and if you didn't know that by age 20 then that is truly sad.
