If there is a grand creator to the universe we live in, tell us hear an honest idea of what you think they would look like?
-
potatoes
-
I believe that man was created in the image of God. So God looks like any regular human would.
-
.

Well in the bible they talk about God as "HE". I picture him as a larger then life human type of figure. He has a white beard, white hair, and has an unearthly golden glow to him. I will draw it and post a picture later.
-
Aurora borealis.

-
He created Adam in HIS image. Not Adam in her image. Makes no sense. He made Eve from the Rib of Adam.
-
Maybe we can't see him like how we can't see different energys.
-
According to the Bible, looking at his face kills you.

I forgot where. Something about Moses. And I meant it kills Mortals... Souls are Immortal.
-
.
-
Does it really matter?
-
.
-
i still say potatoes
-
No and i have no idea what daniel brought it up.
Um... well I was actually talking about this whole thread in general. I don't know what God looks like (he better not be a woman. eww. :P) and I don't care.
-
This is the debate thread where we can debate about matters.
If you don't think the subject is important then don't respond to it.
Or if you are going to tell us it dosn't matter then give us a reason or a response or something worth discussing other related to the topic.
-
If it turns back into something like the last topic about the appearance of jesus was, then it'll also be torched.
If I said that I thought that god would look like potatoes, and truly thought that, then maybe he might humor me when I die and turn into potatoes.
Or, if you were to believe in buddah, he would appear to look like buddah and might grant your everlasting quest to reincarnate as a higher being.
I personally think there is A God, and He will save you no matter the religion you believe in. As long as it worships him and his creation.
-
.
-
And I already knew this....umm....
I'm trying to say that whenever we die, God's just like "aww wth...i'll please all these peoples and judge them by whatever religion that they chose and follow accordingly...whether it is reincarnation or heaven or hell or stars or helium"
-
Heaven seems like the most boring place I could ever be.
I would much rather be reincarnated.

Your opinion is fraudulent and I will NOT TOLERATE IT.

We're not that different, you and I. If only you could understand the true meaning of life, and live more like me.

We already went through this. The meaning of life is potatoes and/or 42.

My post was pointed towards Jack and Patback.

I'm still going with that god can look like whatever he wants, therefore the title of this post is answered :P

Interesting thoughts so far.
Some choose to go for the christian ideas that the creator is in the form of a human male. Some decide that the creator would be an entirely different form of which we couldn't conceive.
What I think is this, the concept of a creator was created by humans looking for an explanation to life, the general concept will be the same for all, there is someone/thing that made the world we know, the specific ways this creator made the world is different to each person though many decide, rather than to think up their own idea, to follow the idea that were made before them and was either told or chose to believe it as right and when enough people do this, the ideas on the specific details of the creator become a religion. The trivialities such as how the creator looks is different for each person, even to those in the same religion because the creators appearance is created in our minds. I would say that because of this, the creator looks like whatever we want the creator to look like.

I would of thought he looked like a cluster of stars.

This guy -----> (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/zuperbuu/hayha.jpg)
No, I'm NOT joking. New beleif floating around in my head....it keeps telling me that this guy is a metaphor for God.
Either that, or it's just a new way to express my beleif.
He is just a figment of our imagination.

What Bible verse did you read that from--or did some crazy person tell you the Bible says that?

I think he is referring to Moses and the Burning Bush.
