Sweet, Remotes. I wonder if I can get one in pink.

I'm sure they'll release more colors though.
hey Kevin is the joy stick thing an extra or dose it come with it?

It comes bundled with it, but they're releasing extra attachments for it.
Ive been waiting for this! But im completely let down. I mean, it looks cool, but I dont see how you can play games with it.

Can I have yours? XD
It's... interesting. Time shall tell if this is actually a real revolution or just another gimmick, but it does look intriguing. Looking at the video makes Zelda look a lot more fun now. Oh, and baseball games might be tons better. But I'm still skeptical if this will lure in 3rd party support...

More than likely, it'll push away third party developers. It means they'll have to do some extra programming. So unfortunately, Nintendo is screwing up again.

With Nintendo? Probably within a week.

I can actually see how they'd attract third party developers. This is a much easier product to develop games for than, say, the DS, where they were REALLY limited. But this controller will probably work with, as Alex said, baseball games, any game that would use a sword for combat, and especially FPS games.
I'm really excited now. I'll tell you what, Nintendo hasn't announced any games, shown any screens, or even really delved into what their online campaign will be like, and they have my attention moreso than Sony or Xbox.
This also just occured to me - you know point-and-click games like "Grim Fandango" and "Sam & Max"? Those never really worked well, but they'll be entirely possible on the Revolution. Awesome.
How will you play the new "Smash Bros."? That's mainly why I'm buying this baby. :X
arg! now i cant attempt to play with one hand while eating cheetos in the other...::Various Dolphin Noises:: Nintendo!
<- gonna get a GC controller adapter for it.

They have GC ports on them. :P

I'm interested in seeing a drum/guitar game using it, personally...
Holy frazzlepops! That thing is awesome! And the commercial makes it obvious that Japan has way better commercials and way better commercial making skills than anyone.
But Im still waiting for the price to go down alittle bit...

Have they even announced the price yet?
Anyway, I'm slowly becoming more intrigued by this, as there could be loads of possibilities with this. Just up to the developers to make these possibilities into reality. Although I don't get why they would make it look exactly like a remote...
Actually, with this controller, I can easily see a Mario Paint sequal.

Same with on DS, but do we get one...?

It's cool and everything, but I don't like how it looks like a remote.. and the button placement. How are you supposed to reach the A and B buttons while you're doing the d-pad? I know with two hands, but some article said you only hafta hold it with one. And yes, I've seen the trailer.. but yeah, I don't like it much, but I'm still getting the Revolution, for sure.

The A and B buttons at the bottom aren't used in regular gaming, they're used for when you flip the controller over to play old-school games.
I'd never be able to use a remote as a controller.

Remote controls a TV.

And it is confirmed that "Reveloution" is not the name of the system. Apprently they already have a name but will not reveal it for a few months. I hope its not crap name like the wi-fi network name they came up with(Nintendo Wi-Fi Network)

I already posted it in this particular thread.
Uhh do you guys know that sensors are the secret. You just MOVE the controller.

I don't think that many people realize that.
AHH I CAN"T FIND IT!
there's a pic of the official nintendo racing wheel, where it's just a plastic U and the 'remote' part plugs into the middle
Figuring that the remote does 3d motion, possibly you would be able to use the wheel for flight games. I can imagine crimson skies being incredible on this system.
some1 pls find the pic of the wheel :P
They're making an adapter that looks like a Gamecube controller.

But isn't that just for Gamecube games? Aren't Revolution games played only on that remote thing?

No. Not at all.

Oh. Well, in that case, I think that the controller's fine.
