Looks like Nick isn't giving up on SpongeBob any time soon (with $4 billion in retail sales alone, that makes sense).

According to an Associated Press news release (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/11/09/ap/entertainment/mainD8DP4OC00.shtml), season 5 will consist of 20 episodes airing from 2006 until 2007, bringing the total to 100 episodes of Spongey goodness.

And here I thought Spongebob was fading away... I honestly think even if the show ended it would still sell big, in fact it might sell even more and gain a large profit margin, like IZ did. As long as Spongebob is still on the air it will remain a cult hit... no matter how crappy the new eps may be.

to me season  4 is getting better but yeah what biggerspongiersquarier said, the show would succeed more if the old episode writers come back. But im sure the new writers are doing fine, squidbob tentaclepants was a huge improvement and i thought it was funny lol. "honey, im scared." -lady fish (when squidward was playing his clarinet in that cape.)

season 4, i think is a good season. They started it back in May. The new Episode Where's gary is coming out tomorrow.
