Um, I do not know. I never had formal typing lessons or anything, but I use my whole hand.... both of them when I type actually.

I don't use the proper positioning of my hands but I don't exactly peck either, I have the keys memorized.

I got "formal" training in like fifth grade so I have to type on the home row hahaha. I type pretty fast if I do say so myself. I don't have to look most of the time.

The home row method probably would have messed me up if it was forced on me. I just remember where all the keys are, and leave my hands whereever. If I need to look at the keyboard, then I do. Usually just to know where I am or when I need to type a special character that comes from combining shift and a number.

Same! I do everything right, but for some reason I dont use my pinky. Well maybe I do because I just used it to press enter.. Heh. So um, nevermind. :p

How fast do some of you type...Or least those who took/take classes and know about how fast they are.

I type between 90-95 wpm.

I did it three times, and I'd say I have an average of about 55 words per minute.

I think it's cuz of the sheer ambiguity of the title than people have chosen not to venture into other possible interpretations.

I think it's because stupid immature jokes like that have become expected by you and are somewhat tolerated. I understood what you were trying to accomplish with the title. It wasn't that funny.
