This event starts at 5 p.m. with a marathon of SpongeBob episodes that chronicle the epic battle between Mr. Krabs and his arch rival, Plankton. Tune in to catch Plankton's failed attempts to steal the secret "Krabby Patty" formula. At 8 p.m. catch the premiere of the episode which explains the rivalry, "Friend or Foe"

FRIEND OR FOE DESCRIPTION
Mr. Krabs and Plankton have been business rivals and bitter enemies for longer than anyone can remember. But one day, during another one of Plankton's failed attempts at stealing the Krabby Patty formula, Mr. Krabs reveals that they were not always this way. There was a time when the two rivals were actually the best of friends. Through a series of flashbacks, Mr. Krabs tells the tale of how that great friendship turned sour, and how the Krabby Patty was born in the process.

Site News / Forum Themes and SpongeBob Episodes

I added back the themes I removed from the forums about a month ago. I still haven't gotten around to finishing the SpongeBob themed one. School has kept me tired and busy.

Also, make sure to tune into Nick at 7:00 PM EST for new SpongeBob episodes during the Patrick for President President's Day SpongeBob Marathon. The Marathon itself started about 10 minutes ago. The new episodes are "Driven to Tears/ Rule of Dumb" at 7:00, "The Pink Purloiner/The Gift of Gum" at 7:30, and "Rise and Shine/Waiting/Sing a Song of Patrick" at 8:00.

Some interesting things to note:
These episodes have been available on DVD for some time now, which I don't believe has happened before.
After today, there will be 3 11 minute episodes left in Season 4.
Either "Waiting" or "Rise and Shine" will be a short, which hasn't occured since "Reef Blower" at the beginning of Season One, not counting "Gary Takes a Bath", which I don't believe was available outside of DVD releases.
All of the new episodes revolve around Patrick, and its possible that SpongeBob is only a minor character in some of them.

A recent upgrade caused to forums to melt into goo for a day or so, but it was mostly during Christmas, when I would hope most of you were spending time with family and friends instead of being here. But, its all fixed now, so enjoy the SpongeBoby goodness.

Site News / David Bowie on SpongeBob next year

According to a post on his personal website, David Bowie is voicing a guest character named Lord Royal Highness in a new SpongeBob episode next year. Does this signal the continuance of a trend of guest celebrities in SpongeBob episodes, starting with the movie in 2004, or is this a one time deal? Either way, lets just hope that Bowie is a better actor than he was 20 years ago in Labyrinth.

Site News / United SpongeBob Forums Finally Fixed!

After weeks of failed attempts at fixing the seemily undocumented bug that was plaguing our forums, I finally managed to get it working this morning. Meaning, there should now be no more posting errors of any kind, and I can finally move on to finishing the United SpongeBob skin for the forums.
