Title: Road Trip!
Post by: Roger on September 20, 2005, 04:20:13 pm: So me, Brandon, and a couple of our friends are considering going on a road trip this spring break. We just can't decide where to go. All we know is we all want to go somewhere west of Kentucky, because none of us have gone any further than St. Louis.

Anyone ever been on the classic road trip? If so, where did you go?

I know a lot of you probably haven't, but I'm curious.

You should go to Quahog, Rhode Island and find out if Spooner Street is real. That's what I wanna do. You should also go see the bottomless pit in Washington state, that sounds neat. But all that must cost lots of money on gas so you probably shouldn't go those places.

Haha. I've suggested that. But I doubt my friends will agree to go to Texas so I can meet people from a message board. I want to, though.

That's kinda what I want to do. It seems fun to me. Plus there's that whole "finding yourself" part of the road trip, which seems to be the most important part of them.

The closest mall to Navasota is 20 minutes away.. and it isn't that bad. XD

Y'all can still take a road trip to Navasota, heck, pass through to spend $4 on a movie or something. :tongue:

and everyyear I go to south padre island and stay there for about a week only because my grandfather owns a hotel down there!

Haha yea, that's where you should go to see a movie.

The downside is.. they only who one movie a week. :'( It pays off though.. concession is cheap too. A large popcorn is only $2.50. :P

Yeah, that's how much it is in College Station. If we can't wait for a newly released movie to show here, we go to that theatre. It eats your wallet though. :'(

So, like I said, make an excuse to visit Navasota to get to San Antonio or something. :)

Go for Fourth of July, they have an awesome fireworks display. You can see it all the way from my house, and it's a pretty good distance.

And of course the movies. :)
