The Waste Land / Changing avatars
« on: August 02, 2006, 05:11:35 pm »
Me and forum software other than IPB don't mix. I looked everywhere for a option to change my avatar, but I can't find it. So, would someone be nice enough to instruct me in that.

Has anyone tried it? If you haven't, here it is. Just remember it's named Minefield for a reason.

Debate Den / What should be legal
« on: October 11, 2005, 08:30:21 pm »
What drugs should be legal? The only one that should be legal is marijuana. It's kept cancer patients alive for years. I've never belived what people say about it. I know people who've been smoking weed since the 1960s. They're nothing like the prohibitionists say they should be.

Everything Else / Injuries
« on: May 31, 2005, 07:51:58 pm »
Have you ever gotten injured? I've bruised my heel, rolled my ankle, smashed all of my fingers and toes at least twice (4 mishaps from skating), nearly knocked myself unconscious, chipped the bone in my calf, and almost blew my ACL. Everything bolded was from skating. Let's hear your horror stories. A basketball hoop came down and fell on my left index finger yesterday. Even worse, another person was on the back of it.

Everything Else / Skating
« on: May 23, 2005, 07:59:43 pm »
Time for this topic again.

Do you skate?

Are you street or vert?

What do you ride?

Are you any good?

How long have you been skating?

Who is your favorite skater?

I skate.

I am neither, more of a bowlrider. I used to like street, but I just gave up after a while. I mean, it took me a month to learn to ollie with practice every day, and I can 5-0 on this natural quarterpipe I found after less than a day of practice.

I ride a Krooked 7.81 board with Royal trucks and 51 Spitfires and Reds. I can't wait to get bigger wheels. I actually have some old 55 Birdhouse wheels with Pig bearings, but they're sort of crappy. I want 56 Ricta Templeton Cores with Speed Metals.

I am sort of good, if I had a concrete park in my backyard I would be flowed by a couple companies and sponsored by a shop right now. I'd like flow from Real and Etnies, and sponsor by the local Val Surf.

I've been skating for six years, but I stopped for a year and a half.

My favorite street skater is Daewon Song (I was a fan even before Round 2, so don't label me one of those people), my favorite bowlriders are Peter Hewitt and John Cardiel, and my favorite vert skaters are Max Schaaf and Darren Navarette.

Debate Den / Do you trust or distrust most people?
« on: May 12, 2005, 03:05:27 pm »
Yeah.

I generally never trust someone unless I know them really well.

Edit: Wrong forum, move it.

Who was it? I went to school with Dylan and Cole Sprouse, so that's probably it.

My dad's uncle was Ernest Hemingway's friend. I'm not kidding. You think I'm lying? Whatever, I know he was.
