Never heard of that law...oh well :) I got an ID
-
Oh yes, a 7 year old kid should be able to buy a Rated M game. I agree with this law.

I agree FULLLY with this law. Why would you wanna buy a ::Dolphin Noise:: game anyways? You sicko!!!
-
I have to say it's a good idea, because you don't want to have a little 6 year old play GTA: 3 or something like shoot someone and bomb a building or something like that.

In 1995 ID Software released a game for the PC titled "DOOM." It changed games forever in both good and bad ways. The public found it way to violent and bloody and thought it wasn't sutible for all ages. Kids started doing bad things and of course they blame video games. This forced them to create ESRB a rating board used to rate games.

Oh Yeha Foulpatty Is Someone That Knows Alot About Video Games
-
Eh, I might be the only 17 year old in the world to not own an M rated game. All these so called "mature" games don't really seem all that mature to me, if you know what I mean.
-

Actully, he is. I agree with this law.
BTW, what does rated "A" mean?
-
I agree with the law, but I also know that kids will get their hands on the games no matter what. I know of a 7 year old that plays GTA: Vice City. Laws can always be bent. :)
-
If you want the game...use a fake ID

There are very few "A" rated games. It means ADULT.
You're right kenny alot of these games go completely overboard.
-
I agree with the law. It is the same as with movies. People 17 and above can see a rated R movie without parental supervision. People 17 an above can buy a rated M game without parental supervision. Makes sense, they are about equal.

haha my 6 year old neighbor plays grand theft auto and halo. he alway beats me at halo and with gta hes always screaming at us to kill the cops  hes so awesomely brainwash
-
I tottaly agree with the law...its not a supid law...its there for a reason!
-
That was created for a reson its called the ESRB
Little kids such as 5-9 Shoulnd't Be playing M games. Like IN ut2k4 The say many bad worrds guts flying everywhere and kids would try to imate that
Each game needs a rating
-
It's a good idea, but it is kinda dumb, 'caue what little 6 year old is gonna walk into a video store, all by himshelf, and the dede " I'm goona by Halo 2" But, yes, this a good law, 'cause if you have herard, I saw on the news, that the new people who are really young who are joining the U.S. military, are really good at the planes, 'cause controls are incredibly similar, SOME HAVE POJES EXACTLY LIKE PS2 CONTROLLERS!!!!!!!!!!! And, if some kid grows up with this from like 5 years of age, they could be a wanted criminal, by the time they are 30. I agree with this law.
-
If kids become murders then they don't get it from any game. But yah anyways I wouldn't bye past a T anyways, I get grossed out by guts. To much violence is violent.
-
It's the parent's decision, and I agree with that. I don't want to see a 6 year old playing Doom unless the parents said it's Ok..
-
I would...it's so funny to see what they do
-
Well, i was at an arcade once, and this 5 year old was playing this game, were you gat on a stand, and attached to the game, were these fake mchine guns, and he was shootin' a bunch of the people. Well, i agree with this law.

No, it's a great idea. Now, stores aren't to blame. The deciscion if you can play them or not is solely up to your parents.

I'm in the same boat, unless you count Quake 3: Arena, which I downloaded (I didnt say that)

Even if you have your I.D and your parents can buy it for you, there is still a law for a video game to protect you.

yep, letting a six year old shoot cops, or splatter someones face allover the pavement will not have any adverse effects.......such a stupid law </sarcasm>
