have you ever heard any songs and thought they were saying something odd?

All the time. There's this REM song called "Belong", and the lyrics are so unconventional it makes no sense to me. O_o
And don't even get David started on the amount of times the title of a song isn't even mentioned in the lyrics. ^_^

All the god-damn time.
I listen to a lot of music where the singer has some odd accent or sings so fast you don't understand what they're saying at first.
I listened to one song where the line was "North to South" and I thought it said "Not so soft" O.o
