Thanks y'all.
P. S. I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers for my birthday last night. Fun!

*avoiding rubbing it in* Yes, it was fun, the show was awesome, but the rednecks were half the fun. Those guys are just plain funny with their whoopin' and hollerin' and beer drinking. Heh, some random drunk guy offered to buy me a beer. I told him no thanks.
And Skynyrd performed my favorite songs!

How about the Allmans? I'd say I like them more than Skynyrd... do you care for them at all? How were they?
bright eyes, green day, and cream. interesting combo. where was the skynyrd/allman concert? theres one in savannah tonight that i wanted to go to.

In my home town that shall remain anomynous due to the fact that anyone can read this board. :P We shall say Northern Alabama to a wee bit specific.
Oh, and one question I forgot to ask: was the crowd predominantly older, in the 40-50 year old range, or was there a fair share of young people like yourself?

I'd say it was 50/50. There were little kids there even.
Happy birthday my favorite member!
Already turning 18.. makes me feel so young. =(

Thank you dear! Young is good, sometimes I wish I was still younger. :)

You do know that now anyone could look up the tour dates for Lynyrd Skynyrd and figure out your hometown, don't you?
And that kinda surprises me... being so mixed. I guess since it's in the south, their music resonates a little more with the young ones...
Yeah, I know that, but I didn't know if everyone else would. Thanks man.
Meh, I don't care that much anyway.
Yeah, everyone, young and old, listen to Southern rock down here. It's just something we do.

I wouldnt say that. Here in Florida we dont.....well, unless your older. But really, Florida isnt the "south" its a state all its own. Well, I call it "Southern New York" because everyone here is retired from New York or is a family from New York.
