What kind and how fast is your Internet Connection? Mine is a Wireless Network Connection at 36.0 Mpbs.

o.O
O.o
is that your internet connectiong or your LAN connection?
i mean my router is connected to all the computers at 100Mbps, but our internet connection is 5Mb FiOS (optical fiber)
try this simple test for an estimate of your internet speed.

Oh. I have 100 Mpbs. But my wireless adpater(not router)says I have 36.0 Mpbs.

No.
That's just what it's capable of. You'll NEVER get that in real life.
Try closer to 1-2MBps.
Run that test.
I get like 5 to 6 mbps on an 802.11g wireless.

no, you got that on whatever your router is hooked up to minus the loss of speed from wifi signal loss :p
Unless your city has implemented Munincipal WiFi you do not get your internet from a wireless connection, you get it from a teleco or cable company that set you up with a *local* in your house range of 500 feet wireless that allows your wireless devices to access the landline connection
run the test i linked too, that will tell you the speed from your computer to the rest of the internet :D
x.x I'm not stupid, I know I get it via Comcast.

lol, i know that, but you didnt say what kind of internet your connected to :p
I only reached 3-4 Mpbs. Oh well. Does Google Web Accelerator boost that up a little?

possibly, although that is most likely just some kind of caching services like most *accelerators*.
Firefox has an extension called fasterfox, which will optimize firefox settings for downloading pages. or you can hit overdrive, but that puts more strain on the server.

And in most cases, that will actually look like a DoS attack on the server and your IP address will be reported....lol
be wary of using fasterfox. just use the old, trusted methods of getting it faster...pay more a month :P

IZ is right. His incoming connection is 6mbps. But his lan speed is about 54mbps.
Anyways, I'm on a 10/100 (@100mbps) with an incoming cable line running at 6mbps.
