Title: Children Of Men

I watched it last night.. I need help understanding.
Someone explain? I mean I get it.. but I don't exactly get it.

I love it.  In my opinion, the cinematography is the greatest in film's 100+ year history.  As far as the plot goes, I think the whole point was not to dwell on a backstory or much of an ending.  It's simply a story, and a good one at that.

The ending was crap. I loved the way they filmed it, like how the blood splattered on the camera, plus there were alot of 'caught off guard' moments. i just dont get the reason for any of the story .

I dunno, maybe its just that I love that genre.  The whole dystopian future and a somewhat sane person trying to fix the world thing.  1984, 12 Monkeys, Brazil, and Soylent Green all fall along similar plotlines,and I love them all.  Its not even about the story so much as it is the atmosphere and setting.  Just how dystopian is the world they created.
