Post by: Rocko on June 12, 2005, 09:47:31 pm
What do you think needs to be done to protect the environment?

Nothing can be done. Let mother nature take its course.

But, if I could decide, I would probably spruce it up a bit. Cleaner parks, streets, forests, etc. I'm tired of looking at the same ol' crap everyday, week after month after year O_o;;

not a car ban. What about cross counrtyry travel? Maybe reduce to electric cars.

Screw anything gas. Move to electric or solar.
Just to name one or two things

find a more suitible method of power, like wind/solar/hydro power.
set strict rules for cars, 1 car per family....that would lower the amount of cas on the roads.

When I was little I felt bad for the environment and ran around the city park with a vacuum. I ran into two people, tripped over a duck, and all I gathered was dust and rocks, and when I opened the bag, they exploded onto my face.

Nature can **** itself.

If it wasn't for nature, you wouldn't have ANY air to breath, you wouldn't have paper for money, you wouldn't even exist.
Nobody respects nature anymore...  :dry:

A lot can be done, but Im more concerned if it will ever get done. *Sighs* I dont like it how people drive to places they could easily walk to, or throw their trash on the ground when you could easily just find a trash can. Recycling isnt that hard. Humans are just becoming lazy.

We have been lazy ever since technology was developed.

We should just get rid of pollution and find ways to be able to manufacture without polluting our environment.

You can't just 'get rid of' pollution, it'll always be there...we have infested the planets atmosphere for good and it will take thousands of years to repair itself...but with all the excess gas and stuff we keep adding it'll never repair itself.
