I had the ipod with the 4 buttons that lit up orange for about 3 years and it was excelent untill the battery started dying eventually. Nothing to do with the fact that it is an "iPod" or anything... the exact same thing would happen to a zen whatever thing or any of those rip offs.
Now I have a video iPod and couldn't be happier.
