I believe in a god like I believe there is no other life in the universe! The odds of there actually being an almighty diety and there NOT being life on other planets is astronomical!
Saying something is "god's will" is just a way to describe something that we as a spieces don't currently, or may never understand. The whole idea of heaven and hell is just plain silly, IMHO.
I feel that once cloning is perfected the human race will have a whole different outlook on religion. Can it be argued that the human race did not create the seed that is life? Millions of years of evolution did that...but we will have the technology to manipulate life and it will empower us to be god-like. It's very exciting!

and i retract wut i said about bashing. but your little remark about christians killing other christians iz pretty weak...i dont remember the last time i heard about christians killing other christians for a religious reason. and about the denominational thing...i dont understand why people split stuff up like that, but thatz why i dont belong to a denomination. i think alotta people make the faith more complex than it really is and come up with all these other thingz you have to do to make yourself good or wutever. i follow the bible and focus on my relationship with God...the basis of christianity, that people will forget about underneath all the useless sacraments and rituals that dont serve a real purpose.

i'm not attackin her faith, i'm defending my own...i have the right to do that. if it was the other way around, she would be defending hers too...but it isnt like that is it? she'z just gotta get that last shot in on christanity before the topic is dropped...and i say, screw that.
