I remember growing up in school kids would always argue about this.  So let's settle this here.  Too bad for Sonic, with Sega being bought out and lost to all, he has no home.

Last tiem I checked, Sega wasn't being bought out. They even took a bid on Lionhead before M$ snagged it.

Sonic wins, because he can go Super Sonic and Mario is too slow to catch Sonic....plus, SOnic has spikes and can really hurt someone if he hits someone with them at full speed.
