The forums have been updated to the latest version of Simple Machines Forums, 1.1 RC3. There shouldn't be any problems, but if you run into any errors, post them in this topic.
-
Well no problems for me so far, but what's the difference from the last one?
-
Mostly back end speed and security stuff from what I can see. The only thing I've noticed different is that there is now CAPTCHA support for registration, which will pretty much eliminate spam bots from signing up. My previous solution for that problem was banning all of Russia from the forums.

But even if SMF 1.1 is under beta, it looks good ;)
-
Yeah... liking it.
-
I still think we need a :ph3ar: icon that looked like the old one :P
-
 awesome!... more stuff
but... when will there be a spongebob skin?
-
Was cmonkey planning to keep using SMF?
-
Yep. Now that there are no errors/bugs, SMF is quite nice. It's speedy and generally pretty feature-full.

I've liked it a lot. Sure, it was rough at first with that dumb database error, but it's definitely better now.
I've seen no errors since the update either.

I hate this skin!
-
Change it. There are multiple skins.
-
Yes, but there are no Spongebob skins.
