Why do we linger under the name of a Spongebob board?
This is mainly NOT Spongebob.
Most people on this board don't like Spongebob(I personally HATE season 4).
And we talk about child-inappropriate things.
And some people say "bad" words sometimes..
Wtf.

Ironically, "This is a Spongebob Board?" is reminiscent of a 4th Season episode, "Krusty Towers," when Patrick says, "This is a hotel?"
Of course, that may have been the point!

I joined here when I was more interested in SB. However, season 4 caused me to lose a whole lot of interest in the show, but I still like it. I'm not staying here because I don't like SB, I'm staying here because it's a great place to talk about non-SpongeBob stuff to people that I already am familiar with online.
The reason for the name? It's a SB info site.

When I joined, I barely enjoyed spongebob. I just joined because Brandon was here. Then I got addicted to the people who were here. Since most of them have left, I've become inactive.

I still watch SB every once in a while, not like I used to when I first joined. And after an odd chain of events, I found that this forum gave me one of the best opportunities with a certain someone [inactive]. And now, I just come and go...
At least 1/4 of the forum is SB... that still amounts for something, right?

Exactly what I thought when I finished watching Best Day Ever.
To answer the original question further, a forum is only a fraction of the site. While the main site is still up and running and contains SB info, the forums, being a part of that site, may not be all SB-related. While the site this forum belongs to is a SB site, the forums are a SB site.

same here. season 4 isn't mature-worthy. er..huh? you know what I mean. anyways, now SB is really just...not good, not saying i dont like Seasons 1-3 but season 4 sucks.

i've liked spongebob for like, 4 or 5 years. And it was still pretty funny up until these new ones came out. Season what, 4? They suck. I simply lost interest in them.
Now I can watch one from back then and laugh, but these new ones aren't funny at all.
