Title: I installed MacOS X on an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Post by: RandomDude18 on July 16, 2008, 07:38:16 pm
It works great, I can do everything I would be able to do on an Apple Computer with this except for running updates without it freezing. By the way, I used Leo4Allv3 to pull this off and I'm gonna try Kalyway to see if it fixes the updates error.

Good news, I installed Kalyway MacOS X 10.5.2 on that computer today and ran their combo update. Now, I can run OS X updates on that computer without it freezing. This computer cost around 700-800 bucks to build and it has 4GB of RAM, SATA DVD-RW, and NVIDIA Geforce 8600GTS GDDR3 512MB. You can pay $2200 for a computer from Apple that's not as good as this ( t has Dual-Core and 2GB of RAM.) or buy one for that price with an amazing graphics card and Intel Core 2 Extreme.
