Title: Conficker Test
Post by: VulturEMaN on April 02, 2009, 11:11:39 am
Its that bad virus that all the news organizations are getting emo about.

Luckily they've started to make online detection websites to see if you have it.

The first website only detects the B and C variants. Its a fast website.

The other website tracks the A, B and C variants, but it is much slower and will probably require you to refresh it 3-4 times over a good wired connection.

Server at work is safe :)

I'm safe, from what I've heard this virus is not as big of a deal as the media was making it out to be.

Its more that it hasn't done anything yet. It has alot of potential since alot of computers are expected to have it. Being apart of a botnet isn't a fun experience for your computer....its like getting a STD.

Apparently not, if it can be detected with 6 images of software logos.
