I was wondering if you believe in god.
In my opinion, no. I am not religous at all. There are too many unanswered questions. I think all the stuff god "Did" is just science.

i go to church and all that. i celebrate all the holidays. i am a catholic. i have been baptized and recieved communion. i was confirmed in the spring of 8th grade. i saw passion of the christ. sometimes i wonder if all of the bible is extremely accurate. my family i go to church every sunday but i am kinda iffy on my faith.

Well, that just shows how blatantly ignorant you are. I really would rather pray for myself then have some preacher tell me how to preach and how to live my life, and such. And how do you know he will do anything to you if you don't go to church? Can you show me a scripture of him saying that if I don't go to church he'll send me to ::Dolphin Noise::? As soon as you show me documented evidence of god stating such you my friend... are wrong... once again.
But don't get me wrong, I believe in God, and I am a Christian, however I believe other people have the right to practice their own religion and beliefs.

That was thousands and thousands of years ago, Mike. Today each preacher preaches their own way, and there are many denominations of Christianity that all believe different things. Also you need to show resources MSP. I know how you like to make things up.

If you believed in G-d, you would know that he sees each person as a unique individual, and that while one person may find Church the place to be closest to G-d, another person may find being alone in a special personal sanctuary is better.
Also, all religions come down to the same thing: A higher being. So why all the hissy fits over religion? Yes, I know Hinduism has thousands of G-ds, but if you study about the religion more, you will find that all these G-ds actually make up one big G-d. Anyways, overall, each religion is saying that there is a higher being out there that created us, and that we need to be respectful of Him/Her. Just because Jesus didn't tell you to worship G-d under a different name than Abba, doesn't mean he said that only the Jewish G-d was real. (Yes, he IS a Jewish G-d!). Jesus just came from that faith, and he used the resources given to him.

My best friend only goes to Church once a month, that doesn't mean she's going to be punished. As long as shes faithful and as long as she prays that's fine.

It is people like you that make good average Christians like me look stupid. Do you have ANY idea how corrupt these churches are? And how they SHUN you if you don't put money in their stupid basket? They don't HAVE to pay taxes so what do they need money for? You're just being extremely ignorant now. You don't know for sure if God will punish you for not going to church. If you read the bible, you WOULD know that Gluttony (Overindulgence) is one of the Seven deadly sins. And looking at your picture you do quite a bit of Overindulging. So according to your logic that means you are going to heck now. Typical Catholic there. Sin all week then think 5 minutes of church automatically forgives you of all your sins by some fake preacher. It is people like YOU who will be punished by God. The lord will save whom HE chooses. Not who YOU choose.

You are correct on that part. I will give you that but God can do whatever he wants. You are saying if people are some certain way they are going to heck. Which is not true. How do we knwo that Jeffrey Dahmer isn't in heaven right now? Afterall, he was baptised before he died in prison.

a priest is not a "preacher" but a man who is ordianed to continue the message of Jesus Christ and hsi Catholic Church, the one and only true religion founded by the above mentuioned.
Confessing ones sins is as old as the bible and can be found in the new testement. Jesus said to his apostles "Whose sins you forgive they are forgiven and whose sins you retain are retained.
REad it in St Johns gospel!!
You can't just confess your sins to God privetly, you need to have th assurence of his Church that they are forgiven.

I know the difference between a proven point, and a cover up - and you, my friend, are trying to cover up. Being that I'm a born again Christian of course I do. I don't like church much because the kids don't like me. They're kind of clique like. They don't mean to be but they are. As a result of some real crap I've dealt with in church I only go on Sunday mornings, when I have no other choice.
I do pray, read my Bible, and listen to Christian music (not Christian rock, oh no, not that stuff) on my own.
