Title: Spongebob Movie Delayed...
Post by: cmonkey on August 01, 2003, 01:29:10 pm: According to various news sources such as spongebobonline.cjb.com, the SpongeBob SquarePants movie has been delayed until Easter of 2005. :angry: Viacom announced the movie a while ago, so it seems like they should have had enough time to create it before late 2004... The only reason that I can think of for delaying it is that they made the movie and decided that it wasn't worthy of being the SpongeBob movie. So then they started over again from a blank slate. Of course, I could be wrong.

My computer still hates me, so I can't upload any files. I'll be updating stuff that doesn't involve uploading until I fix it.

They claimed they received news about the movie being delayed to Easter 2005 directly from UIP which handles distribution of Paramount's films outside of the US & Canada.

And, I agree with cmonkey, delays in movies usually spell script troubles. :blink:

Even if the movie was bad I would still enjoy it...........I mean... IT"S SPONGEBOB!!!!! even the 3-d ride was good even though the story lined sucked.
