Title: Election 2004
Post by: Starr2k3 on November 02, 2004, 05:01:51 pm
Here we go for tonight. So far, Bush has it 39-3. It does not matter though considering these are the states we KNOW are voting Bush. Wait about 10 minutes and see Kerry move WAY up.

Wow. This is really sad, Bush won. Another 4 more years of torture! Seven trillion dollars in debt because of Bush. In the next four years, I can almost guarantee you all it will be 10 trillion. Why does God have to do this to us? We don't deserve a bad president, and Bush doesn't deserve 4 more years. Ah, if only Franlin J. Roosevelt we're our president. Oh well, our country is basically screwed over! All the smart states voted right, like Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, just to name a few. *rolls eyes* This election screwed us all.

I knew Bush was going to win from the beginning. Do any of you remember me saying that?

Hilary Clinton could easily be at the head of the next presidential election. She's got many votes leaning towards her. The guys who wouldn't want a woman president might just vote for her anyways because she has Bill on her side.

Obama could be nice, I saw him talking during the election today and I would actually really like him. His dad's from Africa and his mom's from Kansas, so I think that's really cool :)

Pessimistic..   Bush isn't going to "screw us over" People voted for him again because they feel safe with him. Yes, I said safe. Any President in office during an attack like 9/11 would've likely got into a war, which was also the main cause of the deficit. Also, Clinton carried over a declining economy when Bush won the election. I'll admit, Bush didn't do a good job with the economy, but the deficit is not all his fault.

I'd just like to mention that not every poor person does nothing. Many people who do not have much money have jobs. At least one job. Why? Because they are working minimum wage. And then...because they're working minimum wage at two jobs, and have children, their children still can't afford to get into college, because hey, they're poor. So, THET will be working an minimum wage jobs too. It's an endless cycle for single women and their children here in Canada.

We all know now I was right.  Now is the time to gloat.  I'm happy to see Liberal Democrats crying and in pain.  They try to do so much to destroy my country, but I hope after all this, they know we won't let them.  I am happy.  They are sad. Wherever there is someone happy, someone is always sad.  On EWTN, nuns were praying all night for Bush to win.  The Pope said not to vote for Kerry because of his moralities.  The Priest at Church said to keep saying Hail Mary's for Bush.  And in the end, God came out on top.  The Johns have been flushed on Nov. 2nd, like I said they would be so many months ago.  The Demorats will be back.  Mark my words.  And to quote the words of the famous and beloved late Reverant Ronald Reagan, "We'll be waiting."

Who knows, maybe Bush will hold something better for us in the not-too distant future. I SURE as heck hope so. He most likely won't, but he owns us. I'm not going to just give up all faith and hope on him over a few mistakes. Kerry lost, I'm over it. I'm just going to have to deal with Bush being our leader for 4 more years. I just don't agree with most of his Christian ways (Yes, I AM a Christian, but I sure as heck don't follow the Bible/Torah. I'm really religious, too.), like him being against Homosexual Marriage, him being against Euthanasia and him being against Abortion. But that's just my view. Like I said, who knows, Bush may hold a better future for Americans. If he does, I'll forget about the past mistakes. If he doesn't, he will remain the worst president of all time.

Now Andrew will probably debate over this, but it's just my opinion.

If you'll notice something, most of the blue comes from urban areas.  What does that mean?  Well, generally speaking, people living in the big cities are less educated.  So in turn, they vote for the guy who hasn't been doing his job for the last year and a half, thinking that somehow he'd make a good president.  Hence LA, San Francisco, Boston, New York, Washington, etc contributing towards Kerry getting 86 electoral votes from just two states, making this election seem a lot closer.  Also, this shows that, surprisingly, America is actually somewhat smart.  Maybe we just don't give ourselves enough credit.  Or perhaps too much.  What is it with everyone?  We've yet to get out in the real world and see how this stuff actually effects us.  Sure, there's a handful of people here that are actually old enough to vote, but what does that mean? Not much.  Don't balme the other 18-21 year olds who didn't get around to voting.  They did no wrong.  Maybe they can actually accept they fact they they don't know everything, and decided not to.  That's a better choice than roaming these boards, saying all this crap about Kerry and Bush.  You don't know the facts.  You just base your opinions off of the 'facts' that other people tell you.  Since when is Kerry gonna be better than Bush, and since when is Bush gonna make the other 93% of this world turn against us?  The truth is, we really don't know.  That's how life goes.  And the scary thing is, most of us will be able to vote next ellection.  And what will we have to show for it?

Quote
We all know now I was right.
You weren't right or wrong.  You wanted Bush to win and he did.  Good for you.

Quote
Bill Clinton was one of the best Presidents ever. Get your fact straight.
Whoa.  I don't think so.  Again, this just comes down to being misinformed.  Most of use were barely even alive when Clinton was first in office, and still way too young to know what was going on when he was out (and we still are).  How can you say something like that?  Don't get your facts straight, just try on getting the facts in the first place.  We don't know everything that happened first hand, so we have to listen to what we are told.  Which is almost always false.

Quote
It takes real finesse to lose to a man as unworthy of reelection as GWB.
If he was truly that unworthy, he simply would not have won.  Hey, Bush isn't that great, but it doesn't mean Kerry is.

Quote
Woo hoo! We're all screwed!
Congratulations.

Sorry, I just can't get over people's ignorance in general, I'm not trying to pick on any individuals.  And go ahead, say what you want.  All I'm doing is stating my opinion, just like everyone else.  Also, for those of you who did vote and for good reason, good.  I know I'm only 14, but I can at least realize and undestand that not everything I think is how the world shoud be.

I'm happy Bush won and is going to saves lives of innocent unborn children.  You want me to have sympathy for them?!  And Michael Moore must come out of hiding.  As his last defiant rebel act of The Attempted Highjacking of the 2004 Presidential Elections, Michael Moore has erased his frontpage, and replaced it with a single picture of George Bush. The picture is a mosaic of little portraits of our soldiers killed in the war on terror

I don't really care all that much about Kerry losing the election, really. It won't really seem like anything has changed to me, especially since I only started paying attention to politics in 2000 and I never really knew anything about it before that. It just won't seem any different to me since it's really the only thing I've ever known. Just remember, in four years there will be no more Bush and we won't have to talk about him anymore or worry about him. We'll get a new president that could be worse, or could be better. We just have to be optimistic.

Don't call democrats idiots because their opinions. You have to pull out more than "He hasn't been doing his job for a year and a half" to prove that we were voting for the "wrong" person and are also stupid. If we want to start the Bush or Kerry topic again from the start, we will.

I supported Kerry mainly because:

•He supports the legality of abortion (So raped teenage mothers, mothers with AIDS, and other similar cases don't have to die, so a kid can shortly live in serious pain)

•He supports the legality of gay marriage (equal rights to all, or that's just how I see it)

•Giving tax cuts to the middle and lower classes (Help the poor, bring this nation back out of debt)

...Tell me I'm stupid.

And the people in urban areas that voted democratic have an opinion, and so do you. Like I've told MSP on AIM, it just ends up opinion.

And MSP, if you're going to debate, can you be civilized and more mature while at it?

• Giving tax cuts to the middle and lower classes (Help the poor, bring this nation back out of debt)
• I disagree with abortion.  It's killing.  And at the worst possible time in a human's life.  Rape is one thing, but AIDS only gets passed on 4% of the time, so to make it right for unlikely reasons like those doesn't seem fair.  And if the baby is gonna die, then that's a very unfortunate part of life.  But to take that life away beofre it even gets the chance is not the answer.

• True, equal rights to all.  I'm not gay, but if somebody that I don't even know wants to be, then who cares, just let him.  This country is great at making a big deal out of nothing.

• Tax cuts won't bring us out of debt, and the poor are already getting a lot of help.

The Democratic Party is hostile torwards faith, family, and tradition.
MICHAEL SAVAGE PREDICTED ELECTION RESULTS

Explosive Talk Radio Host is the Nostradamus of the Airwaves, Revered as Major Influence of Presidential Race

San Francisco, CA--  For over three weeks, explosive conservative talk radio host Michael Savage has been predicting a Bush victory at 52-48% on The Michael Savage Show.  The results of yesterday's presidential election prove
he is the Nostradamus of the airwaves.

"I am the only member of the media who knows the minds of the American people," said Savage.  "While Katie Couric, Tom Brokaw, and Jim Lehrer were fooling their audiences into thinking Kerry had a chance in this race with their liberal reporting, I was busy listening to my 10 million fans.  I've
known for weeks that Americans were poised to send John Kerry back into one of Mama Ketchup's seven mansions, and NOT into the White House!"

All other talkers and pundits were wrong; Savage made the most accurate prediction of all talk show hosts in America.  With broadcast T.V. and print media leaning so clearly to the left, Americans have nowhere to go for the truth but talk radio.  The election results are in; and George W. Bush won
easily with no help from the mainstream media.  Ratings don't lie-- the people are now going to talk radio and The Michael Savage Show for their news and views-and Savage had a major influence on this presidential election.

Ten million listeners tune in to Michael Savage each week because he is harder hitting than other conservatives.  Wilder than Bill, funnier than Ann, Michael Savage is a media icon who is unafraid to take on the establishment.   That Michael Savage is a great man. You all should listen to him.  (http://www.homesteadcom/prosites-prs/files/bushblk.jpg)

1. I won't say anything about that, because it will end up an opinion clash. Actually I will say one thing though, it seems like everyone's treating it like abortion is a forced thing.

2. True, but they won't stop making it a big deal. Lots of people are making a big deal out of it because of their religion saying it is wrong. But nonetheless, it's not even worth to be a big deal, but it is. So too bad.
