Most cartoon's aren't funny anymore. I think they're trying to come up with better animation and they're losing focus on the stories. The newest cartoon I've seen that's any good is Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends on CN.

I really think shows sould be like they used to, like Hap[py Days, Gillagan's Island, Laverne and Shirley, Three's Company, you know the older shows. Some TV Is now is gopod, like According to Jim and Rodney i like. I also like The Simpsons and Family Guy, but a lot of newtworks try too hard.

Bottom line. When it was on I wanted to shoot my television with a machine gun.

The only reason Nick is doing this is because their trying to appeal to Cartoon Network Kids. They've been doing that since 2003 when the released "My Life As A Teenage Robot", and then continued a year later when they released "Danny Phantom", but now there trying to make a [dolphin noise]in' ANIME SHOW! Anime is complete idiocy at it's worst, by the way (no offense to anime fans), but Nick took this show and made it worse, the "Nickelodeonised" it.

(Note:
Nickelodeonism: A syndrome common in high budget television shows made directly by Nickeldeon. Symptoms include extreem stupidity, failure to deliver funny jokes, complete cheesyness, and many other factors that attribute to: Stupid Show, most common in Klasky-Csupo and Frederator made Nick shows and Nick TV Movies)

I guess that explains everything. Overall, the minute I saw the previews for this show, I knew Nick, after having gone right down the tolet since 2002, had completly screwed themselves at this point. I really hope Nick get's out of this groove and starts airing shows that are actually funny. WHO CARES if they can't appeal to Cartoon Network Kids, they should worry about THERE OWN audience, and Avatar does not appeal to the average Nick watcher.

People can have opinions if they want to. I don't like the show much either, but I gave it a chance. Did you watch it at all, or are you just assuming that it sucks?

My favorite ep so far is "Imprisonment." And I'm looking forward to the new one (although not as much as the SB premeires). :biggrin:

They don't say "gay" on Danny Phantom or any other Nick show, they can't. Nick would track down the creators and kill them (considering it's Nick especially). Heck, Nick won't even let those shows refrence drugs anymore, and a mere 8 years ago on Angry Beavers the Beavers had a "No Smoking" sign in there house with a lit cigarette on it. Not to mention all the cigar smokers your saw on Rocko's Modern Life. Heck, Nick has become so control freak that Spongebob doesn't even do that (although there was cigar smoking and alchol in the movie), anyway thats besides the point, Danny Phantom wouldn't say that.
