Easter Island Head / Fresh Artwork!

So I read in the slambook that a few people had been missing my drawings! I thought that was lovely that people were missing them, so while I've been doing my usual few hours of doodling I thought I'd post what I've drawn tonight.... I've no idea what, or who these are, they're just a random doodle that I decided to ink. Maybe I'll do more with them, who knows!

Everything Else / London! (and an update from meeee!)

Firstly, sorry I've not been on too much over the last month or so, I've been in the process of moving from University in Middlesbrough, to LONDON! THE CAPITAL OF ENGLAND.

It was a pretty big move for me really, and very brave I must say so myself. But I'm loving it here, and hopefully I'll get a good animation job soon! I got a 2:1 from university as a grade, I don't know if you yanks use that sort of grading in University, it works out about an A- anyway.

Anyway, the reason I made this topic was to ask has anyone here been to London? Did you like it? As the capital of england I love it, its just exciting, theres so much to do, I've not really been bored one day since I've moved down here!

Easter Island Head / Schadenfreude - Avenue Q

(I'm blatently just showing off my work here, but I've been working on this for nearly 12 weeks solid, so just let me have my moment)

You may or may not know about the Musical on broadway called Avenue Q, anyway, what I'm about to show you, the song comes from that, basically its my final year 3D animation project work, its a 3 minute music video for the song 'Schadenfreude'. I've focused more on Character Animation that the enviroment, so thats why its full of black background and low quality scenery (Mainly because i couldnt be arsed, but whatever!!)

Site News / Threads of the Week (THE RETURN) 03/19/07

Hello there USB'ers, and welcome to the return of the all new TOTW (Threads of the Week). Us mods and admins have been discussing it, and we've decided to bring back the old classic to up the activity around the forum complete with an all new look. For those of you who've never seen the TOTW, this thread will basically highlight the best/most interesting threads of the past week, the new thing we've added this time though for people who already do know this drill is that we'll be adding at least one thread from each of the main sections of the forum. Right, off we go... (also, as this is the first one in a new series of TOTW, mine will not just focus on threads in the past week, but threads from a while ago too...)





















Well, that brings this weeks Threads of the Week to a close, there are pleanty of threads there for you to hop around and sift through, hopefully you'll reply in them too. Remember to create lots more threads though so you could be potentially responsible for one of next weeks 'Threads of the Week'. Thanks you very much!

Easter Island Head / Baby Sonic

I was sitting at my computer earlier and I was doodling on some paper, and this is what I randomly drew, slammed it into flash and coloured it quickly. It'll do!



I'm well aware that he has no arms or legs, its sort of Rayman Styled, I quite like it, it fits with the 'baby' Sonic.

Everything Else / My 1,000th Post.

Its my 1,000th Post!

And its only taken me a year and a half to get there (its quality not quantity)! In that time too, this place has changed so much, for example...

  • Some Great people have come and gone from here, thankfully, a lot of good ones are still here, and new people are always joining!
  • The forum had a new skin added just as I started, and then soon after, we changed to SMF forums.
  • Within my first 700 posts I was kindly granted the position of Global Mod (You must have trusted me CMonkey!)

I think I've done some pretty good things though here too, loads of art pieces, and wallpapers for the website, including the Mr. Krabs IPod pictures, or last years USB Advent Calendar.

Anyway, thanks everyone for making my time here at USB good, and lets hope its still here for when I get to my 2,000th!

Gosh its been a while since I posted any art in here, I haven't had time to draw much spongebob recently as I've been busy getting better at 3D stuff, even then, its all for university work. Anyway, I thought I'd post a collection of characters I've made/animated recently for university work.

I'm so goshdarn happy its unbelieveable! I've got myself a place at Camp America this summer!!!

ITS SO COOL!!

I'm off to Camp Greylock in Massachusetts!! Its an all boys Camp, and I'll be there as an Activity Leader teaching the kiddies Art and Crafts for the summer!

I'm so excited...I really am.
