Debate Den / "Forcing" religion upon people
« on: November 30, 2007, 11:37:43 am »
In Christianity, it is said (probably in the Bible), that we are working until everyone comes to God. I know there are already a lot of Christians in this world, but what if people don't want to be a Christian (a.k.a. atheist)? Does the Bible say anything about people who don't wanna come to Christ? If they don't want to, what are we supposed to do? Are we supposed to say "I don't care if you don't wanna be a Christian, I'm gonna make it so you're a follower of Christ anyway!"? If somebody doesn't wanna come to Christ, I say don't force it on them. I'm a Christian, but I feel strongly about this. I have a co-worker who openly told me he's atheist, but he's still a nice guy. I'm not gonna say, "I know you're an atheist, Tim, but I'm gonna bring you to Christ anyway." He told me he wants no part of it, and I'm not broken up over that. Opinions, please.

Everything Else / 9/11: 6 years later
« on: September 11, 2007, 08:49:08 am »
Man, it's hard to believe it's been 6 years already. I remember I was doing schoolwork, and my mom told me that our grandfather had called, saying that an airplane had crashed into the World Trade Center. 6 years later, I still don't believe it.

Nickelodeon / Nickelodeon=RETARDED!
« on: August 03, 2007, 04:00:09 pm »
I'm sure there have been 1 million+ topics like this, but who really cares? Nickelodeon is stupid. Not only are they allowing SpongeBob to be dragged through the mud, but they have these crappy summer programs like U-Pick Live and Slime Across America that throw off their schedules. They're idiots. At least Drake and Josh is still funny...

Games / War!!!

Here are the rules:

1. The person who posts the topic (me), posts a picture of something (for example, a cannon).
2. The next poster posts something that "beats" that (for example, a grenade).
3. If you can't come up with a better thing, you pass. You can't double post, and you must wait for at least 2 other people to "fight" before you post again.

Let me start:

Beat that!

Good luck all.

Nickelodeon / You know what show isn't half bad?
« on: November 06, 2006, 06:09:15 pm »
...Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. I've seen a bunch of episodes, and it's funny. My two fave episodes are guide to Dodgeball and guide to Dismissal. And seeing Daran Norris (voice of Cosmo, Mr. Turner and Jorgen on FOP) in a live action role is great.

Everything Else / A year later...remembering Hurricane Katrina
« on: August 29, 2006, 05:16:41 pm »
On this day 1 year ago, at 9:38 A.M., the first levee broke in New Orleans, beginning the flooding that wiped out a lot of New Orleans. This flooding also hit other parts of Louisiana and also Mississippi, essentially wiping out whole towns and communities. Katrina, like 9/11, will never be forgotten. A moment of silence...

Thank you.
