Haha I just got done seeing this movie and it is hilarious. I don't remember ever laughing that hard at a movie. Honestly I didn't think it was going to be as funny as it was. It's by the same people who did 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up but I loved this one so much more. It is rated R though so use caution or a fake ID, kids. Did anyone else see this or want to see it?

Everything Else / Amusement Parks
« on: May 02, 2006, 02:13:27 pm »
I don't know if this can be combined with the other topic but I decided to make one about all the amusement parks in general. I want to revisit some of these places now that I am older.

Ones I've been to:
1. Disney World: Magic Kingdom, MGM, and Epcot. We haven't been there since Animal Kingdom opened.
2. Universal Studios/Islands of Adventures: Really fun, movie themed rides.
3. Sea World (Orlando) :I was younger and I thought it was fun but I prefered Disney World because it had rides and Mickey.
4. Carowinds: In North/South Carolina. It's okay. Closest one around here.
5. Kings Dominion: In Virginia. Similar to Carowinds.
6. Busch Gardens/Water Country USA (Williamsburg): My opinion may be biased because I went there alot but I LOVED this place. I liked how all the areas were divided into countries and everything was themed like that country. Water Country USA was the best water park I have ever been to. They have over 30 rides and a wave pool. Ah good times. I really miss it. You should check it out if you're ever in Williamsburg.
7. Six Flags (Georgia, New Jersey): Some good rides. I went to each one once when I was younger and I don't remember too much.
8. Coney Island: I went there a few times when I was little but again don't remember much.
9. Sesame Place: This place was awesome. I went there when I was little and I actually REMEMBER it so it must have been sweet...honestly Sesame Place owns. Maybe I will go back there for a senior trip.

Um yeah I am taking a break from here. If you know my email you can email and ask why. Please don't attempt to IM me unless I IM you first. It has to do with that. I don't know when I would be back. I am not in trouble from here or anything but it's a long story about AIM. I have just decided to cool it a little bit and not post as much. Like I said before you can email me if you want but please don't IM me. My parents have been reading my AIM logs and some of them have been a bit suggestive. Last night I forgot to close my AIM and my mom saw one of the chats and printed out. Yeah I think I should keep it normal on AIM for now so don't invite me to your "hot" chats for the time being. I am also getting kinda sick of the cliques and stuff here. I am not leaving permanently just taking a break. You can still read my Xanga entries if you want though. Thank you very much.

Edit: You might see me browsing on here to check up on things but I won't post unless I have something relevant to say.

Of course I am super psyched that the Yankees clinched today against the Red Sox. Now I am going for Cleveland for the wildcard so Boston can't even make it  In the National League side I think St. Louis has the best chance. Go Yankees.

The white man said, "Colored people are not allowed here."

The black man turned around and stood up. He then said:
"Listen sir....when I was born I was BLACK,"
"When I grew up I was BLACK,"
"When I'm sick I'm BLACK,"
"When I go in the sun I'm BLACK,"
"When I'm cold I'm BLACK,"
"When I die I'll be BLACK."
"But you sir."
"When you're born you're pink,"
"When you grow up you're white,"
"When you're sick, you're green,"
"When you go in the sun you turn red,"
"When you're cold you turn blue,"
"And when you die you turn purple."
"And you have the nerve to call me colored?"

The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away....

Hey let's make a thread where we can just quote meaningful stuff or something. I don't know...

Everything Else / 2% or 98%
« on: September 03, 2005, 07:05:48 pm »
2% or 98%

This is strange...can you figure it out?

Are you the 2% or 98% of the population?

Follow the instructions! NO PEEKING AHEAD!

* Do the following exercise, guaranteed to raise an eyebrow.

* There's no trick or surprise.

* Just follow these instructions, and answer the questions one at a time and as quickly as you can!
* Again, as quickly as you can but don't advance until you've done each of them ... really. * Now, scroll down (but not too fast, you might miss something).

Think of a number from 1 to 10

Multiply that number by 9

If the number is a 2-digit number, add the digits together

Now subtract 5

Determine which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number you ended up with

(example: 1=a, 2=b, 3=c,etc.)

Think of a "country" (not a state!) that starts with that letter

Remember the last letter of the name of that country

Think of the name of an animal that starts with that letter

Remember the last letter in the name of that animal

Think of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter

Are you thinking of a Kangaroo in Denmark eating an Orange?

I told you this was FREAKY!! If not, you're among the 2% of the population whose minds are different enough to think of something else. 98% of people will answer with kangaroos in Denmark when given this exercise. Keep this message going. This one is actually worth sending on to others. Forward it to people you know so they can find out if they are usual or unusual
