Has this place received now fresh blood so to speak in a few years. It almost seems as if this site has become dwindled down to a few people who were back here way back in 05, and earlier and thats like about it. I aint complaining or nothing it's just an observation as a long time member.

So how many people here like metal?
I doubt this will get any replies as seeing as the music forum has become one of the least popular parts of this site.

Computers & Video Games / Re: Mac Vs. Pc

Honestly, I don't see much use for MacOS X. MacOS X is supposedly better for multimedia and Windows is supposedly better for gaming. You can't do hard-core gaming in MacOS X but you can do hard-core video editing and graphics in Windows Vista just as good as you can with MacOS X using Adobe CS3. Also, Encoding any tv or dvd rips is a lot better on Windows Vista than MacOS X or Linux. In reality, you can do just about anything on Windows Vista except for a decent server which is where Linux comes in with MythTv, NAS, and a bunch of other neat server stuff.

PS: MacOS X has issues too, the fact that my laptop won't take MacOS X Leopard and it meets the minimum requirements for it. Apple hardware is pure garbage and I got MacOS X on an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 for around 600 bucks and it outperforms the most expensive iMac.
I went the PC route with my most recent computer purchase for one reason... price. MacBooks are way over priced for what they got, if I'm paying $1300 for a new laptop it better have ATI or Nvida seeing as my $750 HP has Nvidia. And it better have a 400GB HDD, and 4gb of ram, and so much else too.

I just got a new laptop, and believe it or not I choose to get a PC, I just couldn't bring myself to spend $1300 for the basic MacBook. So anyway for $750 I got this HP laptop.
AMD Turion 64bit XL2 TL-60 2 GHZ
4GB RAM
320GB HDD

I would say it would be good to get a bunch of new, young members , but they are usually very immature and don't stick around very long.
Have we had any new regular posters this year? This sites membership is shrinking. I admit I'm part of the problem but I have better things to do then to post on message boards all day.
