There is a new episode airing November 11: Atlantis SquarePants. At least we know something about the show and when episodes are going to air. Of course, that doesn't mean that November 11 will be the next new episode but that's great news, anyways!! :)

David Bowie exclusively revealed details of his participation in an upcoming half hour special episode of SpongeBob SquarePants in his journal last year. (10.05.2006 NEWS: SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS IN NEW BOWIE JOURNAL)

Now it gives us great pleasure to be able to exclusively reveal that this episode, Atlantis Square Pants, in which he plays the part of Lord Royal Highness, will air on Nickelodeon in the USA on 11/11/07.

David completed his contribution in October last year, and, as readers of his journal will know, it's a project he was very excited to be involved with: "Oh Yeah!! We, the family, are thrilled" ...and understandably so.

I've also found mention of an upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants book, My Trip to Atlantis, and the following details regarding a game entitled SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis, both of which may or may not be connected to the Bowie episode, but both being released toward the end of the year too.:

SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis -- The game will follow SpongeBob and the rest of the Bikini Gang as they leave Bikini Bottom and journey to the legendary city of Atlantis. Players will discover the treasures of Atlantis, while experiencing new game mechanics and multiplayer features. SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis is scheduled to release for the PlayStation 2 system, Wii, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance this fall. In addition, SpongeBob SquarePants: Atlantis Treasures (working title) is scheduled to release for various mobile carriers.

The voice of the Dirty Bubble, "Charles Nelson Reilly" died Wednesday.

Quote
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Comic actor Charles Nelson Reilly,  a lauded Broadway performer and campy game show guest in the  1970s and 1980s, has died in Los Angeles, a representative for  the actor said on Monday.

Reilly, one of the few openly gay performers of his  generation, died of complications from pneumonia at a Los  Angeles hospital overnight on Friday, Dawn Altyn, a spokeswoman  for the actor's one-man show said.

Reilly's health had been declining for about a year, Altyn  said. He was 76.

He last performed his autobiographical show, "Save It For  the Stage: The Life of Reilly" in 2004, and a filmed version of  the show is due to be released to theaters in October.

Reilly won a Tony Award in 1962 for his role in "How to  Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and was nominated  again in 1964 for "Hello, Dolly!" and in 1997 for directing  "The Gin Game."

He also received multiple Emmy Award nominations over his  five-decade television career, but it was his lengthy turn as a  game show panelist on "The Match Game" and "Hollywood Squares"  that made him a pop culture fixture.

The bespectacled, pipe-smoking actor cruised the edge of  1970s TV propriety with his double-entendres about his openly  gay persona. He later speculated that being a game show  panelist had hurt his acting career.

He also was known for his roles in the 1970s in two  children's programs, "Lidsville" and "Uncle Croc's Block" and  the TV series "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir."

In the early 1990s, he directed several episodes of the TV  series "Evening Shade," and in the past few years performed the  voice of The Dirty Bubble for the hit cartoon series "SpongeBob  SquarePants."

The Bronx-born Reilly is survived by his longtime partner,  Patrick Hughes.

Here it is: The United SpongeBob Yearbook. Haven't had one in a while. Credit goes out to DragonOfGrief for the original one (although I can't find it). I found one for Kevin in Dec 2003 but not for Ty :P

There's probably more that could be put in but it's not going to be this humongous list that takes 30 minutes to fill out. This list was taken from the original yearbook. Have fun!

Welcome to the third delayed TOTW :P

Since I had some time off from studying for finals, thought I would catch everyone up with all the hot and sexy topics everyone has been making.

  • So, what's your whole deal with the new shows that Nick has been showing? (El Tigre, Naked Bros Band, Mr Meaty, etc) To me, nothing will ever step up to what Spongebob has become. Perhaps if Nick brought back some of the old-school shows (Welcome Freshmen, Hey Dude, Littl' Bits, Elephant Show, etc) then no one would be complaining to Nick. Besides, the old shows will always be better than what Nick calls 'new', right? RIGHT?! I thought so. ;)

  • Throws your hands in the air like you just don't care!! Sanjaya has been voted off of American Idol. He's almost as bad as Scott was in season 4 (?) when he had one of the worst voices I've ever heard and he stayed for a few more weeks than he should have. Anyways, now everyone can get back to watching the other shows besides American Idol now that Sanjaya is gone :P

  • Raise your hand if you know that DBZ (Dragon Ball Z) is the best anime evar!! **cue crickets** Ok, fine, but there is no other anime out there that competes with it. Even Sarah agrees and she knows she better not argue about it :P Anyways, what's your favorite anime? Come share your thoughts. Apparently, there is this show called "Akira" that I've never heard of and it's supposed to be really good. Meh...I'll have to get it somehow.

  • Scariest. Commerical. Ever. That's right, I'm talking about the Starburst 'Berries N Cream' commercial. Never has there been a commercial that makes me crawl into bed and hide more than this one. Facial expressions and all.

Perhaps we've gotta to get paid so we can get these TOTW on time :)
