yeah like rocket power has been gone for more than 2 years and now they are making all these movies
Lets not forget about the new Captain Chrunch Cereal. I was wondering about that myself. They did quit making rocket power almost as fast as Catdog came and went. Some shows just dont last. The rocket power story was stupid. About kids that surf and skate. It has no real plot, just the story about.......kids that surf and skate. The fact that it was a cartoon was stupid. It should've had real actors. Alot of the action skate junk looked jerky. Is half of that stuff they did even possible?

It was so far best episode yet! :original:
What have you been watching? We all know that Nickelodeon makes these 'movies' for money :nono: ......retards!(@ Nickelodeon)
They make them to kill air time too. In the summer most series' go on hiatus. So, for nick they make crappy movies to show so kids wont get bored and quit watching. The movies are stupid none-the-less. That As told by Ginger movie looked like crap. I didnt even watch the stupid thing. FOP gets on my nerves anyway because its the most overplayed show on nick. Even more than SB, I think. I like the dad because hes so stupid. Everything else is kinda lame.

Nickelodeon / Amanda, Please!

Seems like 17 year old girls always get a thumbs up around here. Anyways, the show was ok, but drake bell is an awful actor. Hes made for things like sketch comedy, but the Drake & Josh show is useless. Drake acts like he does in sketches, but can't do a serious character to save his life! The commercials are his best work. As far amanda, shes annoying. Shes like the preppy girl you cant stand at your school or something. Well, shes making more maney than I'll ever see. Got to give her kudos there.

isn't anything - Glad you liked it!  Though my headphones can't really handle them...I have my computer's sound routed through my Alpine system...ahhh!  I love loud music!

I used Ripper, DVD2AVI, and Audacity to make those.  Zim's laughter at the end is supposed to sound distant and metallic.  It's just an effect, and like that in the show.

Thanks for the compliment, though I must say I have NO KNOWLEDGE to this stuff, I'm just winging it!

SB129 - I'm not a big FOP fan, only because I don't have cable and never get to see it.  As for the bendies, Ive been keeping me eye open for them in the stores, but I haven't seen them yet.
Oh, I understand. It sounds good. keep it up!

Sean-I never used a peavey before. If it sounds good use it! Its not the name brand, its the tone!

I know ALOT more about guitars, though.
Hmm..... I like you already.
Do you play? I see the guitars in your sig. I have an epiphone, which sucks. Its got fret buzz, but I like the sound. Its "deep" like a Gibson.....I'd use it for rhythm guitar. I'm looking into getting a fender jazzmaster or, jaguar.

I don't know, all I know is that the Dolphins weren't a very good team.
No, but Dan Marino is a spokesman for a chain of used car dealerships here in Florida! I bet hes making more off commericals than being on the Dolphins!!

wah...that stinks!

Oh well...at least I didn't waste my time messing around with it...

Though I seriously doubt it will ever happen, perhaps the soundtrack CD will become available to purchase one day.  That music is just too cool...
I've only listened to the opening theme, it sounds good. You just added bass to it? What programs do you have on your computer? The theme is good, but Zims laughter seemed compressed. Its not bad, but doesnt seem loud enough. I liked it! You did a darn good job! All of those sounds can be created on a synth or a synth program. You could actually do your own version. Which might actually be better than the original!

Well, thanks for sying I'm an "expert". I'm flatted (flattered, taken from Dana Carvey stand-up routine.) I know ALOT more about guitars, though.

I couldn't tell you if they are edited, because I never had cable to watch Zim on Nick in the first place.  Perhaps someone else can answer that question, like Kevin.

The DVD's are awesome, regardless.  Using a ripper program, I have ripped the background music off the DVD's, because Zim has such an awsome soundtrack to it.  I have to figure out how to separate the voices from the music now, but so far I have created two mp3's,  the opening and closing theme.  If anybody is interested, I can email them to you, just PM me with your address, and I'll get 'em to you.  You may have downloaded them alerady from another place, but mine are better!  I have boosted the output, plus added a little bass, so everything shakes when I play them....heh. [/smarm]
Um....its impossible to remove vocals from music. There are different ways you can reduce the volume, but you cant remove them completely. I record music and its impossible.

Sombody posted this on another forum, its about removing vocals or parts of tracks.

You can remove a substantial amount of the track but will never remove all traces of the original track. Firstly if you take the track and run it in Wavelab (for example) you can use the Tools 1 plug in and select MS plugin (Middle & side) split so that on one speaker you will now have what was panned to the sides and from the other speaker you will now have what was panned in the centre of the stereo field. This is because 9 times out of ten the vocal is panned to the centre and guitars & synths normally are panned around a bit either left or right.

OK so now you've probably got the vocal and the bass together. Bass is usually panned centrally coz low frequency sounds impart very little spatial information and thus they get stuck in the centre with the vocal. Anyway... using some EQ you should be able to remove a substantial amount of the bass leaving the vocal clean (ish). However, much of the time the kick and snare drums are pretty central too and they will "leak" into the vocal you want. Sorry mate but that's just the way things are. You can get very clever with EQ & filters but at the end of the day it'll never be clean - or clean enough to use on it's own without other things in your mix to cover them up.

Its impossible unless you go to the person who did the music for the show and asked them for the tape of the music or, re-did the track yourself. I'll have a listen, though.

Indie is short for independent. The cartoons are 5-10 minute shorts. I'm not too familiar with nick UK, but alot of these cartoons were written/made/created by a handful of people, not in big studios like where SB is made. Some of them are stupid, but "spider & fly" has a killer theme song!!!
Ohhh Like That Monster Meastro(sp) thing???? Its STUPID and oh those gross facts........
uh....something like that.

Yeah, the 1st season of Zim ison DVD, and the 2nd will be released in August.  I have Jhonen Vasquez's email address, btw...it's no secret.  He publishes it in his comics.

I want to find a short cartoon that showed on Kablam? called the "untalkative bunny".

Are you reffering to Vasquez's "Filler Bunny?"
Oh, I know the address is for the public. And no, it was a cartoon where a bunny is sitting on a chair and the phone rings, but the bunny cant talk...its a person selling newspaper subscriptions. The saleswoman is asking for information, but all he can do is nod his head and give physical gestures.

I've never really read any of his comics. I went into a comic book store some years back and they didnt carry "filler bunny" or, any of the other ones. I sort-of lost intrest in it, then I saw Zim. Are the DVD's edited like the show?

I also want to get the "aqua teen hinger force" DVD box set that came/is coming out.

Such naive dreams.
What do you mean by "naive dreams"?
Naive: Lacking worldly experience and understanding. Really innocent, sheltered.

I wouldnt tell you some of the dreams I've had. They go way beyond shooting zombies with shotguns. I've had a dream about zombies, very violent dream...I wrote it down once, but lost it. But then again, dreams usually bring out true feelings. They can be inspired by things you saw, read or, heard. Dreams are usually better than reality (in my opinion.)

Do you guys usually dream in black and white or color?

I've had one dream in black and white in my entire life.

Spike TV is planning on having it, but that's just a rumor.
Spike TV has Ren & Stimpy on at 2 o'clock in the morning (if anyone stays up that late, I dont!) I havent bought any of Vasquez's comics, but in high school I knew a girl who loved him and had his public email address? I love Zim. It (like adult swim) does attract to an older audience like R&S did. I like all those weird "off-beat" cartoons. Zim's story lines were absolute genius along with the plot of the show. I want to find a short cartoon that showed on Kablam? called the "untalkative bunny". They dont have ZIM on DVD do they?
