Everything Else / German
« on: April 02, 2007, 07:35:11 pm »
Is anyone here currently taking or signed up for German next year? I signed up for it and everyone including my brother is telling me it is out of this world hard even if I study for hours on German. My brother didn't like it but everyone I know does.

Computers & Video Games / My Report On Windows Vista.
« on: February 03, 2007, 07:26:50 am »
I installed Windows Vista Ultimate on my 2nd computer with an AMD Duron 1.6GHz and 512MB PC3200 RAM. It ran good and I checked it out. However, the only thing major difference I saw was Aero which is basically a Windows version of Beryl. It has media center stuff built into it too and voice recognition. Overall, it has way too much crap that people are probably never gonna use and most people will probably need a newer computer to run it. I wouldn't recommend it until you really like the fancy graphics. I don't have any screenshots to show, sorry.

Computers & Video Games / Windows Vista Beta 2
« on: June 11, 2006, 02:39:34 am »
I'm currently running Windows Vista Beta 2 right now and it's not bad at all. It's actually alot faster than XP is for me but that might be because of I'm running the 64-bit version. As a pro linux user, I like it alot more than XP because of the speed and it's running very good. When I first downloaded it, I expected it to be total crap but it's actually very good and no trouble with it at all but the install was a little bit slow. Here's screenshots I took from it. By the way it doesn't have 2 screens like it shows in the screenshot. Vista was weird and made it like that for some reason.

Computers & Video Games / Arc hLinux.
« on: March 30, 2006, 02:41:27 pm »
Arch Linux is now my new favorite linux distro. I've completely switched from Ubuntu to Arch. Arch does everything Ubuntu does and more. It's harder than your average distro though. I love the package manager of Arch. It installs stuff alot quicker than Ubuntu and Gentoo. Ubuntu is pretty slow now a days and Arch is the fastest distro I've ever used. Arch is basicly an easier version of Gentoo Linux. Here's a screenshot of it.

I've decided I don't want to be here anymore. For the past few months, I've only made a post once a day tops and I feel like this forum doesn't need me a mod anymore and I'm sick of certain people on here.
